His harsh words echoed through my brain, and the silence riding around them made me uncomfortable. He came and sat in the chair I'd first seen him in as I could feel myself once again drifting to sleep. I let my eyes shut not caring what happened to me. I was to tired. I dreamed of the sought after ocean, like usual, of my parents, of my memories. But then I couldn't sleep anymore. As I woke, my eyes couldn't seem to shut, my brain more awake than ever. But it was cold. Space was cold. This room seemed to have no heater, no way to be warm, and I was stuck with a small blanket, one that barely covered my body. My teeth were chattering, my entire body shaking. Until I saw two hands bring a large, thick blanket over my body. I wanted to almost roll my eyes, but I couldn't help but be grateful. He wanted to kill me, he wanted me to die. But here and now he'd do the opposite, and save my life.

As I woke the next morning, Ren was not to be found. I sat up, my chest hurting immensely. "Here, take these." He appeared from what must've been the bathroom holding two white pills. He was holding a glass of water as he gestured the mixture toward me. I cautiously took it, seeing no shame or fooling in his eyes. Within minutes I was immensely feeling better. "Rey, follow me." I slowly got up and followed him, my ribs still hurting even though I'd taken the medicine. We walked through hallways with many glances at us, his hand at the small of my back guiding my through. It took every piece of energy to go wherever I was appointed, and I was tired. He led me through a door into a dark, open room. Inside there were only small things that I could not make out, but I soon saw the millions of stars and planets around me. "You see that Rey?" he asked. I walked towards the window having need seen so many planets, so many colors. "You and I...we could rule the galaxy Rey. You understand that don't you?" he asked. I felt a strong disappointment flow through my body. "I'll never join the Dark Side." I spat. "But you can join me." he offered. I slowly turned to look at him in the dark room. "I want to train you, Rey. Teach you. You don't know the power that you hold." he continued. "You can't teach me through the Dark Side, you can't show me anything." I countered. "But I can show you the ways of the force. Not the Dark Side. Because I want to train you, and show you what you are capable of, no matter whose side you're on. You're too powerful to let slip away." I thought for what felt like hours, my life either falling into place or falling into pieces. I slowly looked at him in the dark room, his eyes trained on me. "When do we start?"
