Kylo Ren's POV:
Her figure was so small, yet she was so strong from her many years of life on the junkyard of Jakku. It'd been a week since we'd began her training, flighting and rebuilding her strength since the accident. She was slowly coming back to the girl she used to be. She was proud of herself on occasion, for being able to block an attack, or be able to catch an attack of her own. I was actually very surprised to find how good she was getting after such an awful accident.

"You'll need to make sure your hands are correctly positioned in order to keep your fingers from being smashed to bits." I saw her roll her eyes. Surprising. "What was that for?" I asked, trying not to show my curiousity. "I have used one of these before, it was my weapon of choice on Jakku. You don't need to instruct me on this, I can handle myself." she replied, a small smile showing through her words. "Then show me what you've got." I challenged. The small girl took her weapon, and forcefully threw it at me, her movements full of confidence. I  blocked the attack throwing back one of my own. For a while we were going back and forth, one gaining a move on each other, the other soon regaining control. Eventually, I got a blow to the stomach, sending me tumbling to the ground. Her eyes were suddenly full of worry. "Oh no, oh I'm so sorry!" she called, biting her lip. She ran to my aid as she rubbed her hand on my back, my confidence running to zero. "That was..impressive." I choked out. "I really shouldn't of hit you so hard, I'm so sorry." I could see that she meant it, and I was confused. "Oh, but Rey, I deserve it." I steadied myself as I stood up, her hands still trying to comfort me. She looked at me with a sadness in her eyes, and I didn't know how to respond. "No you didn't. You're not...a
monster Ren. You don't deserve to be treated like one." Once again I was confused, yet calmed by her words. "Training is dismissed for the day. I'll see you later tonight." I abruptly walked out of the room, my head in my hands. Her words kept replaying through my head. "You're not a monster." she'd said. No, I must've been much worse.
