New Voice

catharsis

i let my thoughts loose
and things got out of hand.
words kept spilling on the page so fast that i couldn't keep up with them.
ink stained my hands coloring them black, blue and red.
all my secrets escaped as well and it was so embarrassing coming face-to-face with them.
they smirked at me and kept running.
it was so overwhelming i almost got a panic attack.
when it was all over, i looked at the pages in front of me, they were filled with my life story and others' stories too.
i eventually calmed down.
i folded those pages, put them inside my textbook and went back to doing my work.
