do the math

seeing your teacher outside school
is so weird and awkward.
you could see him
on the street,
at the supermarket,
at the doctor's office.

you are so surprised,
"what are you doing here? you belong to the classroom"
you might want to say.
but of course you don't,
you don't even want him to see you.

but then reality hits you that
your teacher isn't just a teacher;
he's a real person
with a real life
and eats real food.
he has a family,
a house,
hobbies.

being a teacher
is just one part of the whole equation.
