we took the same journey together,
moving step by step together,
making mistakes together,
learning together,
yet we ended up
in completely different
destinations
alone.
where did we go wrong?
i thought it takes heat and acid to break bonds,
but maybe they break on their own
when they have no reason to exist,
when the atoms have nothing in common anymore.
