"So you won't forgive me? I don't get it. You used to be so nice. What happened to you?"

I chuckled as I thought of how much I needed to finally let it all out.

"I was there for you when you needed me, but when I needed you, you turned your back on me," I shot back, almost yelling.

I didn't want to cry. I took a deep breath. I felt as if my words would fly away to the neighboring city if I didn't finish my speech, so I went on.

"I didn't see it coming. At all. I never thought you'd be like that. That hurt me so much, for betrayal stings like a bee, or even worse. I felt like a fool. I guess that is why I stopped helping people, or trusting them. All because of you. You basically killed the nice person I once was."
