A/N I am so sorry this is short. I promise it will get better, I understand that this is porbably a bit boring and slow right now, but I've got more eventful stuff ready! I hope you guys enjoy!
Ian
It was a nicer day in summer: not too hot but not too cool (as if cool was something that ever happened in California), my scars had almost healed enough to be cast off as an accident from chem class, and I was wearing a t-shirt and wasn’t sweating my face off. But I just couldn’t stop thinking about that dream. It made me think, was I really worth all the effort Anthony was putting in? He was wedging himself in a never-ending battle between a single celled idiot and a still weird but smarter, nerd athlete crossover thing. Hell, I didn’t even know what I classified as, and Anthony was still helping me.
He insisted on taking me home on that day, much to my dismay. I wanted to go home, sort out my stupid little manifestation of evil in my brain and read. I didn’t know what, but anything would do. Anything but old literature that was barely written in sane, old-fashioned English. Yeah, I’m talking about you Shakespeare.
Anyway, I got in his car and talked to him on the way, finally feeling a smile on my face, a nice change from the frown that had been there all day. But then Anthony decided to be a douche-pickle and turn the wrong way at the intersection. God dammit, I thought. I got fired up and yelled at him a bit once we were at his house, and immediately regretted the yelling. He was doing nothing wrong, only trying to brighten my mood, so I smiled when he suggested the park. He remembered too.
We walked along the single person walkway situated next the train tracks and fenced off by thin barbed wire. It was a pretty sight, since most of the houses were higher up, and all sorts of shrubbery and greens had grown on the light blue wall to my right. We walked almost silently for a majority of the time, only complaining when a loud train would come whooshing past us and threaten to burst our eardrums. We finally arrived at the park around the corner from me after a while of silence, and I realized that Anthony and I had been pressed shoulder to shoulder the whole trip from walking in a one-person lane. I wondered if Anthony had noticed.
Throughout the walk I’d slowly let the dream and tension fade away, but the minute I saw the park equipment I was transported back into the dream. I saw myself on the swing and Anthony surrounded by the icy light, his harsh remarks and stupid little me hanging on his every word. Realizing my distress, Anthony decided it would actually be good just to take me home, so he did. We strolled and I could feel a smile reappearing on my face, until we turned the corner and saw people at the garage door to my house.

FanfictionIan and Anthony are different. They're not the creative duo you know today. Ian is all alone and constantly bullied. Anthony isn't very well liked, but at least people leave him alone. It's just lucky that differences bring the pair together. Okay...
