This is it guys. The 100th part of the series. (98 chapters + 2 prologues)
SO LETS GO
Just a quick warning it's VERY long XD

I sit on the old, dusty cot with my head lowered, staring at the gray concrete floor.

The three brick walls of the cell are coated with dust and mold from the damp atmosphere of the town hall basement. The fourth side of the wall is the iron bars running from the ceiling to the ground. Sticking out of one wall near the floor is a faucet leaking drops of water.
Drip.
Drip.
Drip.

I look down at my blood covered hands, shaking.
Then I glance at the front of my gray long sleeved shirt, dotted with dirt and blood.

I then hear the basement door creak open and close.
Slow footsteps echo throughout the basement. Grace appears behind the iron bars, wearing a white long sleeved shirt and rubbing her arms. I slowly lift my head up to face her.
"What happened, David?", she asks shakily.
I lower my head back down to stare at the floor.

ONE HOUR EARLIER
(Picking up from where the last chapter left off)

After I sweep up the locks of hair on the kitchen floor with a broom and dustpan, I head into the front room by the door where Evan and Lisbeth have come inside, sitting on the couch near the coffee table. Grace took a seat in the living room by the kitchen to write in her journal.
Evan's eyes go wide when he sees me, and says, "Woah! Nice haircut, dude!"

"Thanks, it was kind of hard to say goodbye to my luscious locks", I tell the two of them. Lisbeth and Evan both giggle as I head upstairs.
Eli's still in the shower, so I guess I'll kill some time in the bedroom that I share with Grace.
I step inside, swinging the door to close but leaving it open by a crack.

I sit down on the comfy bed, the gray colored sheets neatly made.

Sitting there in silence for a few minutes, I get up and walk over to the closet.
Sliding it open, I look down in one corner of the closet space and see the machete there in its leather sheath.
"You're just gonna sit there and laugh, aren't you?", I ask no one, kneeling down and staring at the weapon.
I stand up and shut the closet door.

I stare at myself in the mirror hanging on the door, watching the fresh new look for me.

If Anthony was still here, then he'd really not recognize me.
Eli soon gets out of the shower, and then I have my turn in the bathroom.
After throughly showering, I change into some fresh clothes: black pants, and a long sleeved gray shirt. At least I don't have to worry about combing my hair anymore.
Heading back into my room after changing clothes, I take a black pistol and stuff it between my shirt and pants, just in case.
I roll up the sleeves of my shirt and head downstairs, where Grace is talking to Evan and Lisbeth before they head out of the house.
"Where you guys going?", I ask the dynamic duo.

"To Cody's house. I heard his mom made some heavenly cookies", Evan tells me, pulling on his gray beanie which he had in the back pocket of his jeans.

"Hehe. Make sure so bring me some", I chuckle, calling to Evan as he walks down the porch with Lisbeth. I had gone to Cody's apartment yesterday evening but there weren't any damn cookies. But I don't blame anyone, I mean after all Haven was just taken over by a herd of walkers.
"Weren't you supposed to meet Cody at the woodshop?", Grace asks, tilting her head as she holds open the door.
