they drank their coffee quickly and quietly.
january was fed up with waiting.
"can i tell you a secret?"
january asked june.
"of course,"
june answered.
they were sitting across from each other.
june leaned in so january could whisper it into their ear.
june did not at all expect to be kissed.
january did not plan to kiss june.
but it happened.
sometimes feelings take over any sense of logic.
but both of them were happy as can be
and hopelessly in love.
