The Royal Heart: Chapter 2

“I’m home” My brother voice echo through the house, as he closed the front door.

I could hear his footstep as he walk toward the kitchen, and place his tools in the table, very slowly trying not to make any noise.

“Chris, you better take those tools out off the table” I said without turning around to face him.

That has become a hobbit for him, placing his dirty tools in the table. And every time, I found myself telling him the same thing. I hear him picked them up and place them on the floor.

“Zander” I warned him once again.

“What?!” He answered all innocent. “They are off the table.”

I sign and shook my head. “Zander, go and take them to your room. If you don’t I would not serve you”

“Come on Luna, I’m hungry.”

I shook my head once again. “I don’t care. Go put them in your room.”

“I will put them after I eat”

“Zander”

“Please”

“Three”

“Luna”

“Two”

“Come on”

“On-“

“Okay…Okay, you win.”He said, as he picked up his tools. “Put I want my food on the table by the time I get down.”

“Whatever” I said to him, before he exited the kitchen. “Just hurry up before the food gets cold.”

Before I could even place the plate on the table, Zander returned. He was changed on black short and a white t-shirt. Making his black hair and brown eyes more visible than normal.

“You should at least shower, pig” I said, using his nickname.

“Hey, ladies love a hard working man” He said, showing his muscles.

My brother is handsome, yet at the same time he’s not. Well at least, he is not for me since, he is my brother, but for others girl he is. He works on construction; Zander never got the chance to go to college, all because of my school fees.

I laughed at him. “Ooo great hard working man…” I said joking. “Enjoy your meat.”

He sat on the circle little table in the kitchen as I gave him, his food. As he eats, I did the usual. I sat on the chair next to him and tell him about school.
