Alpha Stone was very surprised to see Leo carrying me into his hotel room that night. My energy was coming back and it wasn't long before put much needed distance between us. My cheeks were flushed and my hair was very knotty. "Alpha Solis, may I ask why you have one of my pack members?"

I had to resist the urge to roll my eyes as Alpha Stone seemed a bit put off by his sudden intrusion. My only wish right now would be that Alpha Stone could persuade Leo to put off my moving with him for as long as possible or I would just have make multiple excuses up as to not go. Hopefully I would not have to go with the latter.

"Well much searching for Claire here was not easy but the reason I have her is because she is my mate." Leo jutted his thumbs in my direction.

"I believe sending a search party to find me is a bit intimidating."

"Claire, is this true?" Alpha Stone questioned, ignoring my snide remark at Leo.

"Yes, but Alpha I don't want to go with him. You have to be understanding of this."

"While I understand given that you've only just started-"

"Just started my senior year." I finished quickly for him, knowing fully well where his sentence was going.

Leo gave a questioning look and I ignored his eyes staring into the side of my face as I just gave a shy smile. If I barely trusted Alpha Stone and his pack then why should I give the benefit of the doubt to Leo, someone I barely just met. "Well Claire given your grades you could have easily graduated already. There really is no reason for you to be in school anymore."

"Curse my intellectual skills..."

I heard a deep voice snicker behind me and couldn't resist glaring at Leo. What other reason could I possibly make up to keep me from going with him. No just wasn't an answer received well from Alpha's, that much I knew from what Lydia had taught me. The gears worked in my mind trying desperately to come up with reasons. I came up short of none. The only plausible reason is my personal business that I did not want Leo to know about. I sighed knowing there was no escaped out of this situation. The damage had been done and I was going to be forced to live with him. Only positive thing I could look forward to was getting to hang out with Mae.

"At least give me some time to gather my things then. Let me leave around the same time Lydia  is, it would be rude of me not to give proper goodbyes to everyone back home." I reasoned.

Alpha Stone  would know fully well the underlying meaning to the message. I wanted to be able to at least see my family one last time before I left the country for good.

"Which would be when? It is custom you would come home with me after the ceremony." Leo butted in.

"A week. I really do not  have that many belongings."

"Good so it's settled," Leo stated before leaving me alone with a pity looking Alpha Stone.

"Ugh Finn, finally you took forever!" I threw my hands up in the air silently thanking the heavens.

"Sorry, Bailey was really questioning what I was doing with you tonight."

"You didn't tell her my situation, did you?"

"Of course not, just because she is my mate does not mean that she needs to know your business."

I smiled gratefully at him before we left in the car towards town. The weather had been bipolar lately and today was somewhat hot compared to how it was before our trip to Greece where it had been raining some days. My stomach twisted in knots thinking about seeing my sister and parents in the month I had not seen them. Had my sister changed? I heard that sometimes when tragedy strikes that people make drastic changes in order to cope.
