Sam: y'all's favorite Disney movie was the little mermaid . He feels that sometimes when he wants something he has to sacrifice to much because of his way of life . Kinda like Ariel wanting so bad to be Human but has to sacrifice her voice and possibly her soul to have it . It gives him hope that everything will work out for him .
