We arrived at the mall, and walked into Pacsun. I browsed the shirts and tanks while he looked at pants and shorts.
"How about this one?" I raised up a white t-shirt with a surf board and some words on it.
"Eh, too cliché teen boy." I laughed and put the shirt back.
We went back and forth turning things down, and keeping some. "Here, go try all of this on and show me." I said as I handed him my pile and shoved him into a dressing room.
"Yes, mother." he laughed.
He tried on everything and showed me each one, which most looked good on him. We went to the counter and I pulled out my wallet.
"woah woah woah, no way little lady. I'll pay for it."
"oh no, I suggested we go shopping so ill pay for it." I argued back.
in the midst of our arguing, I heard a wolf whistle from behind us. We both turned around to see some frat boy with his friends, eyeing me like I was meat.
"Damn baby, you sure know how to get heads turning." He spoke, checking me out once more.
"Not interested." I said sternly, and turned around to avoid him. I saw Marcel's jaw clench, like he was holding back from doing or saying something.
"You sure babe? You would look so good on the back of my bike." I scoffed at the comment, wanting to get the hell out of this store.
Marcel turned around and approached the boy. "She said she's not interested." Marcel growled, anger dripping from his words. He walked back over to me and grabbed me around the waist, holding me closer to him.
"Whatever. I'll find someone twice as fine as you." And the team of frat boys left the store, in search of some dumb whore they were hoping to pick up.
"Someone is a little upset, huh?" I joked with him, and hugged him around the waist.
"I just- I couldn't watch him look at you and talk to you like that." he said through gritted teeth.
"You're a protective one." I spoke. I leaned up and whispered in his ear, "I like that." He smiled at me as I kissed him on the cheek.
The cashier handed us a bag with a receipt. "Wait, I didn't pay for it yet?" I said confused.
"yeah, I know. That's why I did." he said with a sly smile while he grabbed the bag with one hand, and my hand in the other. "Now off to get you something." He said, looking around at the near by mall stores, trying to locate one I shop at.
"Oh, I don't need anything. I have plenty of clothes. We don't have to shop for me."
'I know. But I want to get you something." I just laughed as he drug me into a forever 21.
We shopped around for a bit until we decided to call it quits and head home. We pulled into the driveway and saw my brother's car."shit." I said.
"We can go to my house? My parents told me they're spending the day with their friends that just flew in from Colorado, so they'll be gone." Marcel suggested.
Marcel gave me directions to his house and it turns out he lives a couple neighborhoods away from me. It was a massive house; nearly two times my two story.
"I know what you're thinking, huge house. My parents bought this thing when we moved here which was totally stupid, considering it has 10 bedrooms and only three people living in it." he said as he got out and came to my side, opening the door for me.
I smiled and hopped out, lacing my fingers in his and walking toward his huge glass front door. He slid the house key in and opened the gigantic door, revealing an even more beautiful interior.
"Your house is beautiful." I spoke in awe.
"As beautiful as it may be, it gets quite lonely here. All these empty hallways and rooms.." he said as he led me down the hallway to I suspected to be his room.
it was a massive room, with a roof window and a little loft with a ladder leading up to it.
" Oh my gosh I'm in love with your room!" I said.
"Thanks, they let me pick my own room, so I chose this one. its the only one with a window on the roof." He spoke.
"What do you want to do?" I asked.
"Well there's a lot of stuff to do here.. like we have a basketball court, bowling alley, swimming pool, theatre, and a game room. But its up to you." I thought for a little bit before I came up with one that seemed appealing at the moment.
"How about we just watch a movie?" I suggested, "Today we spent like three hours at the mall, I'm not feeling really sporty."
"That's exactly what I was thinking we should do, I'm worn out. How do girls do that all day?" He asked jokingly. I laughed and followed him out of the room and to the Home Theatre.
