"Mom, Dad-"
"Who's the gentleman next to you?" Dad said, looking up from his newspaper.
Gosh Dad, I don't know. A burglar?
"He's Hugo."
"Nice to meet you," Hugo said, shaking their hands.
"So.. are you her boyfriend?" Mom said, trying to act casual.
I mentally face palmed myself.
"Um," Hugo stammered, "I- Yes."
I blushed and held his hand.
Mom nodded and Dad went back to his newspaper.
"He's quite adorable," I heard Mom murmur.
