We're not supposed to be blood-related.

We shaked hands. I smiled at her.

"Dinner?" I offered her.
"Oh sure." She faked a smile.

"My dear dear dear dear dear Lorien, let's exchange seats, shall we?" My mom said to Lore. They did. Now Lorien's sitting beside me in the pentagon. While mom and Aunt Loren sat beside each other.

Lore continued eating her meal. Then she was done.

"So you live here?" She said as she looked at the diner chandelier.

"Yeah. So you're gonna be living here?" I joked.
She laughed. "Yeah. Guess I am."

"Dear Uva! You take Dear Lorien for a walk around the house. Take her to her room after. Go." Mom told me.

"Yes mom." I replied.

"Shall we?" I said turning back to Lorien.

"Sure." She told me.

And we made our way through the halls. I explained every single picture in the walls. And when we were meters away her room, there was this family picture of my family with me, Veritas, mom, and dad in it.

She looked sad. "Where's your dad?"

"He ain't comin' home." I told her plainly.

"Sorry." She said as she went in her room.

"It's nothing."
"Sorry for the bother."
"It's fine. Now you sleep, we still got school tomorrow."
"You're really serious about this going to school huh?" She laughed.
"First timer, you know?" We both laughed...

... like we weren't cousins.

"Good night." I leaned towards her. Kissed her good night at her forehead.

She closed her eyes. She cupped my face in her hand. She pulled back.

She looked at me in my eyes. She tiptoed to raise her height. Her height is just below my eyes. She held my head, trying to pull it downwards very slowly.

"I'm sorry. Could you just bend a bit?"

Curious as I was, I bent down.

She kissed my forehead. "Good night."

She pulled back. She looked at my eyes.

"I'll never get tired looking at your eyes." She told me, motioning to pick my eyes out.
I held her hand.

"Me too." I told her. Looking straight into her eyes, I noticed something which I didn't notice before.

Her eyes... they are red. I mean, I noticed this before but there was this part of her eyes that I didn't notice earlier. It was covered in red color. But not all of it. Some parts were stained or more like blood got dripped in her eyes.

Covered in red with blood stains.

She closed her eyes. "Don't look."
She opened it again and told me good night and thanked me for everything I have done to her today.

She went in. She closed her room.

I still stood there outside her room.

"Lore." I said making sure she could hear me from the inside.
"Yes?" The other side answered.
