Mutual Understanding (GrayLu)

Protect the past, for the future part 10

"So, what's the plan guys? " Loke said while leaning on the wall.

It's night already and the kids are sleeping while Loke chose to stay.

"Honestly, we don't know either.." Lucy answered.

Loke sigh "First, we need to find that 'person'." He's talking about the person who's trying to harm Lucy.

Gray quickly nod on that, no matter what happen, Lucy must be safe.

"But how?" - Lucy

"If that person is after you then that person would be just here." Loke said with seriousness.

"She's not safe here?" Gray asked worriedly as his forehead crinkled.

"On how it looks, yeah." Loke

While Gray and Loke are keep talking, Lucy keep being silent.

She's not safe in her own house, she's in danger- but why she doesn't feel scared at all?

The truth is, she's more worried for Grey and Grayson, what if instead of her, her boys will in danger?

What if they're the one who will get hurt?

Just thinking of that makes her heart clench in pain..

No, she will never allowed that- no matter what.

"Lucy?" Gray makes her snap out of her thought again for the third time.

"Huh?" Lucy blinked her eyes.

"Are you listening? " -Loke

"O-oh.. im sorry." She looks down.

Loke look at Lucy curiously "We agreed that we should tell master about this."

"Eh?" Lucy look at them "are you guys sure?"

Gray and Loke both nodded,  their face show how serious they are.

Lucy become serious too "Okay, I guess that's the only way we can be sure that we're safe." She referred about her, the boys, Gray and her family.

Loke and Gray curiously look at her, she's the one who's in danger- what does she meant by 'we're'?

Gray's expression got soften as he kinda thought what Lucy meant.

"Sate!" Gray stands up "I'll tell the kids about this when they woke up."

Loke smiled while Lucy smiled.

"Please stay with us here Loke, for Lucy." -Gray

"Of course,  even if you didn't ask me that- ill stay, after all- Lucy is my master and my dear friend." Loke gave them a sincere smile.

Loke is indeed a great friend, well what would you expect on a member of the Fairy Tail Guild? They're family.

Lucy is thankful that she's bless with great friends.

She know that if Natsu and the others are here, they will do the same thing too, but right now- its only Gray and Loke.

Gray move his eyes every where just to see his kids.

"I told them not to wonder around that far." He sigh, he needs to find them.

As he walk, his eyes stop on his two sons walking on the side of the river like what Lucy always do.

"Tsk.. looks like they got that weird hobby of her huh?" Gray grin.

"Boys!" He shouted, the two kids quickly look at him and even if they're wearing their hoodies again- he can see his kids wide smile.

The kods badly want to shout 'dad' but they need to be careful so they just run towards Gray who kneel down and hug them.

"Dad!" They both said in excitement as Gray released the hug, and as always- Gray felt complete and happy as the boys called him that.

"Lets got home? We need to prepare then we'll go the the guild 'kay?" Grey and Grayson both nod on what their father said.

Not far away, Lissana and Juvia are walking back to Fairy Tail, and Juvia stop as she saw Gray- holding the kids.

Her face showed curiosity as she look at them "who are they?"
