13: becuase of a baby part 1

Itami is 12 and Kakashi is 14

Itami walked with her team, kakashi a little bit behind, Rin up with them too. Minato sighed, obito trying to talk to Rin. Minato had noticed something different with his team. Kakashi and Itami barley talked, he guessed it was because of the death of sakumo. Kakashi had became cold. Itami guilty almost, team minato then made it to the hokage's office where the third smiled at them
"Today I have an ordinary D rank mission for you all. You'll be babysitting as usual" the third stated, Itami sighed.. The hokage had also noticed the difference between Kakashi and Itami's relationship, kakashi had began cutting people off.... Which wasn't the best thing for him.
"Obito and Rin will be taking care of little rose, please go to the eastern part of the village" Rin and obito nodded. Minato following. The third then looked to the two teens that were left
"Kakashi. Itami. I'd like for you both to settle what's ever is going on" the hokage stated
"I'm fine lord hokage" kakashi stated, Itami nodded in agreement, she didn't want to annoy him more then she apparently had been. The hokage sighed
"Alright, I'd like you both to take of my friends son.. He's only a few months old and his mother and father unable to take care of them while on their mission. And they specifically asked for you two" Itami smiled and nodded
"Why us?" Kakashi asked.
"They didn't put a reason, just that they wanted you two to do it" the hokage stated saying for a medical a ninja to come in..
"Be careful with him.. He's fragile" the medical ninja informed Itami who took hold of the baby gently.
"He's so small" Itami whispered, the baby looked up at her and giggled making her smile.
"Your mission starts now, this parents will be home in a few days"
"Alright we can do that, right? Kakashi?" Itami asked looking up at the masked boy who was looking at the child.
"Yeah whatever" Itami sighed. Not feeling any better, the two then walked out. The hokage smiling
"Hopefully this will help with the problem" the hokage whispered, he knew well about what the two were avoiding eachother about.. With Sakumo's death and Itami trying to comfort Kakashi the best she could, he eventually got annoyed with her coming over all the time and yelled at her. It looked like to the hokage that he had been ignoring her and becoming cold hearted yet again. The hokage sighed as minato came back and looked around
"Where are the-?"
"They've started thier special mission minato, no need to worry, they'll handle it" the hokage stated. Kakashi unlocked the door to his home and looked back to Itami who was holding the child.. She looked quite nervous
"Come on, get in already" Kakashi growled, leaving the door open as he walked in. Itami then walked in and closed the door, everything was clean nothing touched. Itami then steeled the baby down a pillow on the couch, she watched Kakashi walk down to his room making her sigh. She then picked the baby up and smiled. The baby giggling at her as she played with the little boy's hands
"Your so cute" she whispered. Kakashi then walked back in wearing his ordinary clothing with was basically his ninja attire.. Except the ninja weapons and headband. Itami looked at him and sighed
"You don't want me here do you?" She asked quietly. Kakashi looked at her
"No. I don't. But we have a mission that's the only reason I'm letting you stay. As soon as it's over your out and back to your place" he said annoyed me Itami looked away as the baby looked at them both and began to cry slightly. Itami looked to the baby and tilted her head
"Why is he crying?" She asked. Kakashi sighed.
"He was fed and changed before he got here..." Kakashi muttered thinking... Itami sighed as Kakashi lifted the boy up and stared at the child, the baby then began to giggle reaching for the silver haired boys mask.
"No." Itami giggled a little making Kakashi glare at her. The baby stared at him and blink. Kakashi stared at the kid with a slight disturbed look making Itami sigh.
"Come her little guy" she said taking the baby off Kakashi and nuzzling the baby's stomach with her nose, the baby then began to laugh and grab itami's bangs making her giggle
"Smart little boy" she whispered. Kakashi just watched as his teammate played with the baby like she knew what he was doing. Itami smiled as The baby yawned
"Naw cute little sleepy head~" Itami cooed softly.. Holding the baby in her arms gently, "did the hokage ever tell you his name?"
"Ryū" Kakashi answered her quickly to avoid her looking at him. Itami smiled as she watched little ryū open his eyes slightly, the little boys green eyes looking to kakashi making the masked boy stiffen. The little baby then giggled and soon feel asleep soundly..
"Where should he sleep?"
"With you" kakashi stated getting up. Itami frowned at him and set the baby down on the couch gently.. Making sure the baby wasn't going to fall or cry.
"Hey Kakashi wait a second" Itami said walking after him, he just stopped half way down the hall way and stared at her
"What now Itami" he said annoyed.
"Couldn't you at least try to.. You know.. Do the mission without glaring at me and stuff?" Itami asked quietly rubbing her left arm nervously, kakashi stared at her with a blank expression... Itami bit her lip and sighed "or at least.. You know.. Act like your alright with me being around?" She asked, kakashi looked at her and growled
"Get out, take the kid. I don't want you here" kakashi stated. Clenching his fists. Itami looked at him..
"I know your still sad about your dad but.. Why are you-"
"I'm not sad about that stupid man who didn't finish his mission! I'm more mad then sad Itami!" Kakashi growled loudly.. Itami whimpered a little "now just get out" he growled, Itami looked at him and sighed.. Hugging him and letting go quickly,
"Okay..." She whispered picking up ryū from the couch and sighing
"Come on.. You get to meet my sister" Itami said smiling as the little boy giggled sleepily. Kakashi then walked to the door, closed it and locked it, Itami Shepard the cl ck of the lock and sighed. The baby then began to cry.. "Hey it's okay.. No crying" Itami whispered as she made her way home.. Kinda disappointed in how the first time she had been to kakashi's place for weeks had gone.
