'You didn't tell me about Star.' I said to Isaiah whilst he drove, he ignored me and sat in silence as he stared at the road ahead. I rolled my eyes, I wasn't used to seeing this ignorant side to Isaiah, all he had to do was tell me that my best friend was coming onto him and there wouldn't be all of this drama.
'You were dealing with Emma and her pregnancy shit and I was dealing with Star.'
'How exactly were you dealing with Star?' I asked putting as much emphasis as I could on her name, he laughed and shook his head.
'The way I should of been, just told her about Andre and reminded her she had a boyfriend.' I nodded slowly, I wish he would of said more sooner so I didn't have to find out that way.
'I wish you'd have said something though Isaiah.' I said and he sighed.
'I know I should of, I'm sorry I just didn't want no stress we were going so well but I guess not telling everyone and making it official is just... I don't know... difficult.' He admitted and I nodded in agreement, it was hard but it gave my mum even more reason to believe I was pregnant if she then found out I'd been seeing Isaiah.
I rested my head on the window and we arrived at my Gran's in silence, he helped me take the things I'd packed up in my room down into his car seeing as I had to stay at his until my Gran returned home from hospital.
'Wait there, I'm saying bye.' I said to him and he nodded, he went back to the car whilst I went up to my Gran's room and she smiled at me.
'Get your things back bambina?' She asked and I nodded, I kissed her on the cheek and she hugged me tightly.
'I'll be back before you know it so stop worrying, you've got enough on your plate with your friends and things back at home.'
'But Gran, I'd just prefer you to stay at home.'
'You might prefer that but doesn't mean it's going to happen, I need to get better Nat.' She said and I sighed, I hugged her again tightly and said goodbye before leaving the house. I went back into the car and Isaiah drove us to his. I wanted nothing more than to be with my Gran whilst she went through this, but she didn't want me to see her in that state. It broke my heart that she was a better mum to me than my own mother and she was the one having to suffer.
As soon as we got to Isaiah's we went straight upstairs and he helped put my things away in the room I was staying in as Monica was strict on me staying in a seperate room. I looked at Isaiah as I sat next to him on my bed and my phone started ringing, Emma's name came up and I busied the call.
'You should answer it, hear her out-'
'I already listened to what she had to say back home, there is no excuse for what she's done Isaiah.'
'I'm not saying there is but you two are supposed to be good friends, she fucked up she's human... haven't you made a mistake before?' I thought for a while, I'd made enough mistakes to last me a lifetime.
'I just don't want you to waste time hating Emma, life is short Nat.' He said and I nodded slowly, I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder.
'Where's your mum?' I asked and he shrugged.
'Probably work, well when she's not here the bedroom rule doesn't exist.' He said smirking and kissing my neck lightly, I sat up and he frowned.
'What's wrong?'
'I'm really not in the mood, that's all you ever want to do.' I said and he shook his head.
'It's not all I want to do but I'm attracted to you so obviously I'd want to, we can watch a film or something then.' He said and I smiled, I'm glad he understood, if that was Jamal he would of kept pressuring me. He pinched my bum as I stood up and I glared at him, he chuckled and we went downstairs to watch a film, as soon as we sat down on the sofa Shanay pushed the door open and walked in with Destiny behind her, who's big grin disappeared as soon as she saw me sitting there.
