"Jamal... what's happened-" He interrupted me by pulling me in for a hug, he wrapped his arms around me tightly and sighed.
"I thought they did something to you." I pulled away and raised my eyebrow, what's he talking about? No-one's troubled me...
"Come in." I said and he walked in closing the door behind him, we went up to my room and I closed the door behind me. We both sat on my bed and he kept looking at me. I looked around the room and then at him to see him still staring, licking his lips.
"Um, Jamal... why are you looking at me like that?" He started leaning closer to me and as I was moving back he climbed ontop of me between my legs smirking.
"What are you doing?!" I said and he rested his forehead against mine, looking straight into my eyes. I had this weird feeling in my stomach and his lips pressed against mine, I closed my eyes and my arms wrapped around his neck whilst his tongue caressed mine. I pulled away and opened my eyes to meet his. They'd now gone back to their normal hazel colour once he laid next to me with his arm around my waist.
"Jamal... who's looking for me?" I asked and he clenched his jaw, he was screwing thin air. I really didn't understand what was going on.
"Jamal-"
"Do you remember those guys? When I told you to duck down behind the car with me?" I nodded slowly.
"Well them, they're looking for me still and they've seen you and know who you are."
"Oh me? Yeah I'm Natalie." He laughed and flicked me in my head.
"Yes we know that, I meant they know who you are to me." I raised my eyebrow.
"Your friend?"
"You aren't my friend Natalie." I moved away from him and sat up screwing. What exactly did he mean by you aren't my friend?
"If I'm not your friend why are you in here? On my bed!" He sat up and looked directly into my eyes. His hand rested on my thigh and he smiled.
"Well because I more than like you... I'm kind of erm, falling for you... without that sounding-"
"It's not gay! I feel the exact same way, I don't understand why you boys find emotions gay."
"Well they are, it's just new for me Natalie." Mm... he wasn't the only one. I may have had other boyfriends and maybe even dated a weirdo but none could explain how I felt about Jamal, it was weird because it was a completely different feeling. One I'd never experienced before.
"So why are they after you and now me?" I asked.
"Khai had something to sort out with them, he didn't do it so I had to. Now they're looking for us both because they've seen you with me and know you're my girlfriend." I began to get a bit angry, one of these days I was just going to turn Khai into one of these guys, but now I couldn't because they were looking for me too!
"THAT FUCKING-"
"Calm down man! It was to be expected, when you do stuff for him it kind of lands you in situations like this, don't stress." He said and laid back down, sorry was this idiot telling me not to stress when my life was at risk? All because of a perverted, sad 20 year old? I could get shot and Jamal's telling me not to stress.
"How can you tell me not to stress? I could die-"
"Nats, you're at risk everyday you step out your house. How do you know you won't get run over or something? Or caught in a crossfire?" I stayed silent, he was actually right.
"Exactly, don't worry. I'll protect you." He said looking at me, I nodded and he opened his arms for me, I rested my head on his chest and he put his arms around me. I kept thinking about those guys, they were so big and scary looking. I didn't want to die, especially if it was because of Khai.
