"No Natalie we aren't going to a funeral, don't you have anything shorter than that?" I raised my eyebrow. I'm not a sket so I don't need to go to a party dressed like one. Infact, why was I even going to this party? There were no invitations but it was Jamal. Star raided my wardrobe and pulled out a short purple and black strapless dress.

"This looks nice! I didn't know you had this."

"Yeah, neither did I until now." I muttered under my breath and she threw it onto my bed and got out some black heels I had. Okay, I really didn't want to go and now that I was dressed like this it would only attract attention. Sometimes I really didn't like Star. I looked at the outfit that was on the bed blankly and she started laughing.

"Natalie, you are going to look sexy man just trust me."

"Trust you? If I get raped or touched in anyway I'll hold you responsible Star."

"Love you too Keira!" She grinned and went to use my bathroom, I'd already washed so it was just a matter of getting my clothes on. I creamed and slid the dress on zipping it up the side. I walked over to the mirror and looked, it wasn't actually that bad. It looked quite nice, that was one of the only times I'd ever admit something looked good. I smiled and sat down infront of my mirror straightening my front fringe and curling the rest of my hair a little bit. I sprayed myself with some perfume and a bit of body spray. I put my diamond studs in and put my keys, phone and oyster in my clutch bag. I put a little foundation on and a bit of mascara and lipgloss.

By the time I'd finished, Star was out of the bathroom fully dressed and was admiring herself in the mirror. I laughed and grabbed my heels whilst we were walking downstairs. Dylan had turned his attention from the tv to Star and his eyes widened.

"Eurgh, Dylan." I said and he gave me a look of disgust. I wanted to slap him but I didn't want to spoil my great mood so I held back and ignored his look. I don't think he understood that I could just expose him right here and now.

"Bye auntie Isabelle!" Star said to my mum and she came out of the kitchen and hugged us both. She clapped her hand over her mouth once she saw me and I could see she was smiling.

"When was the last time I'd seen you wearing a dress Nat? You look so beautiful and grown up!" She said smiling and Star elbowed me and gave me the "told you so" look. I rolled my eyes and Dylan got off the sofa to come and say bye.

"Bye Star." He said staring at her, she laughed lightly and waved at him whilst walking out the house. He had his arms open for a hug, I started laughing hard and he screwed me.

"Go away Natalie!"

"Unlucky Dylan, maybe next time." I said and walked out closing the door behind me. Star was on her phone, I was sure it was to Khai because she was giggling uncontrollably. I shook my head at her and walked in silence to the bus stop, it was only 6 so it wasn't that dark. Our bus came in no time and we got on and went upstairs, there were two other boys sitting at the back. I recognised one of them from when I first moved here, he was on a bike standing with Jamal and Khai. The other one was Andre and he licked his lips at the both of us. I looked at Star;

"Babe, they're nodding. Just say hey." I waved back at them and they laughed and shook their head, I knew what they were thinking. White girl. But hey, I'm not exactly used to this now am I? I sat in the window seat and Star sat next to Andre and they both started talking. The other boy came and sat next to me, he smelt really nice. He smiled at me showing off his pearly white teeth and I smiled back politely.

"I swear you're Jamal's ting?" He said and I raised my eyebrow.

"Huh? No I'm not. I don't even like him."
