Elisabeth peaked into the hotel ballroom. Dracula was standing in front of the room just to the right of the altar. Dennis stood off to the side holding the ring. Walking up the aisle was the maid of honor, Mavis, and the best man, Johnny.

A red haired human flower girl carried a bouquet of flowers behind them as monsters and humans alike said "Awwww." Then a bunch of wolf pups pounced on the flowers in a whirlwind, shredding them, leaving the girl disheveled as petals fall around her. The humans wew stunned but the monsters again said "Awwww."

Next was Lis. She walked nervously down the aisle in the white bridal gown. This was the most nervous she had been in her 225 years. When she reached the altar, she took Dracula's hands in her own and looked into his eyes.

"Dearly beloved and departed, we gather today to join these two souls in unholy matrimony..."

After what seemed like forever they finally said "I do." They leaned into each other and kissed a long, sweet, slow kiss.

A touchy-feely monster hugged a human next to her, causing him to cringe in agony. The emotional Blob hugged a woman next to him so hard that she was pulled into his body. Her sons tried to politely pull her out.

At the reception, Marty, a pale monster gave a heartfelt, poetic, completely unintelligible speech. Mavis, Dracula, and various other monsters were extremely moved, but Lis had no clue what had been said. Johnny's straight laced human parents and brothers looked mystified and confused. Marty finished to polite applause and hands the mic to Johnny's Backpack.

After a silent moment its bow tie fell and Johnny nodded, choking up. He seemed to think this meant something. "True. So true, buddy."

Elisabeth and Dracula cut the wedding cake together. The cake screamed in horror as the scream cheese frosting was cut. All the monsters applauded.

The humans smiled uncomfortably as they were served cake. As one of Johnny's brothers reached for his piece, the Venus Fly Trap centerpiece devoured it, taking his watch and his arm as well. Mavis struggled to pull him out and shot an angry look at the Venus Fly Trap, who tried to act like he was just kidding.

Dracula took out his ukulele and began to play the song "Longing To Belong" by EDDIE VEDDER to Lis. "I'm falling harder than I've; ever fell before; I'm falling fast while hoping; I'll land in your arms; 'cause all my time is spent here; longing to belong; to you."

Lis sang the second verse in her sweetest voice. "I dream of circles perfect; eyes within your face; my heart's an open wound that; only you'd replace and though the moon is rising; can't put your picture down; love can be frightening when you fall."

They sang the last verse together, their voices blending beautifully. "And when the time is right, I; hope that you'll respond; like when the wind gets tired; the ocean becomes calm; I may be dreaming but I'm; longing to belong; to you"

Lis hugged Dracula tightly, teary eyed. Other monsters teared up, including Bigfoot, whose giant tear fell on Grandma Linda, soaking her entire body.

At this moment Lis woke with a start. But she didn't know what had woken her. It was dream... how nice it would be to relive that day...
