Zing 2! : Family Problems

Chapter 12: Griffin's P.O.V.

Griffin, who managed to 'avoid' being arrested, answered his ringing phone. He spoke quietly as he was "hiding" outside. "Yeah?"

Dracula's voice came through the phone. "It's time to break human laws."

Griffin sighed and removed his glasses. Griffin moaned nervously and opened the doors to the cells. He floated past the oblivious Deputy Jo, wearing headphones and listening to the same pop tune that had been playing for an hour.

Buck pulled himself out from under Frankenstein's bunk. "What the-?" Buck pushed Murray aside but was slapped in the face, left, then right, then kicked in the nuts by Griffin as everyone else hustled out.

Deputy Jo finally noticed. "Hey!"

Griffin tickled Deputy Jo, who was helpless with laughter as the others got away.

They ran over to a dirt road and Dracula asked Griffin "You called the getaway car?"

Just then blobby pulled up on his rascal scooter. He was covered with dirt and grass and a stray squirrel is trapped in his body. Blobby scolded them in blob jibberish.

Dracula apologizes. "I'm sorry, Blobby, we really meant to call you sooner!"

"Why is there a squirrel in him?" Lis asked.

"Who knows?" Jack responded. "Let's go home."

Lis and Jack transformed into bats and flew home while the rest piled on to the scooter and somehow Blobby managed to drive it, awkwardly, but still fairly fast. Dracula covered up for the coming daylight.
