It has been exactly an hour since Dr. Howard said his announcement, and I have been stuck with Zelda this whole time. I learned that this Cave has been built recently, like two to three years recently. I still haven't met anyone other than Zelda yet, but they all look...weird.

I know that everyone has a story to tell. All of them came from different parts of the land, and gathered here. Now I don't remember my story, and I'm sure they don't remember theirs either, but that still doesn't mean that they didn't have one.

So are you excited for training tomorrow?" Zelda asks me.

I think about her question for a moment. Am I ready? To be honest, I don't know. I decide to not answer her question.

"You know I don't lack any intelligence; I know that you're scared. It's okay to feel that way though, we all felt that at one time, but it's not what     you think, this place will start feeling like home after a while."

I let her words sink in. I don't know whether to respond or not, maybe this place will start feeling like home soon, since I don't remember how my home was.

We kept walking through the hallways in silence, until she broke it. "You should get some rest, you need it. And training begins early tomorrow, so you better be prepared."

"I forgot to tell you, your room is right across the hall. All the newbies share the same room for about two weeks. Once you have improved and your records have been released, then you share a room with the rest of the guys."

"But...isn't there a girl among us newbies?" I ask. I mean isn't that a bit illogical to share a room with three guys and a girl.

"Um... I wouldn't worry about that if I were you. I've met her earlier today, she is not one to be messed with."

I just nod in reply. She tells me where the room is and then tells me a 'goodnight'.

Once I'm left alone in the hallway, I follow her directions, until I stand in front of the door that leads to my room. Hesitant, I twist the doorknob, and open the door, revealing a not-so large room with six beds, with only four of them occupied.

Only two people are in the room with me, and they are the guys that I saw earlier. Walking past them, I notice that there are duffle bags next to each bed, with each bag having a name written on it. I keep searching for my name, until I land next to the bed that was supposed to be mine.

I sit on the bed awkwardly waiting for god knows what. I take a look at the guys that are with me. The first guy looks about my age, with brown hair and a really weird looking eyepatch.

The other guy looks a little bit older than the first guy. He has blonde hair that reached past his shoulders, and his height was probably at least a one eighty.

"Oi you over there, quit starring, I know I'm irresistible and all but please I'm straight." Says the guy with long hair.

My face just cringes "Hell no, I'm not gay!"

He laughs at my reaction. "Nah bro, I'm just messing with you."

Him and the other guy walk over towards the bed on the opposite side, and sit down facing me.

"Why, where are our manners? The name's Nathan, but I'd prefer is you'd call me Nate." The blond guy says.

Then the other guy introduces himself. "And I'm Keith, but you can still call me Keith because I don't know if I have another name since they didn't tell me if I did."

So he's one of those stuck up know it all. Since they introduced themselves to me, the least thing I can do is introduce myself back. "Elijah is my name, and like you said, I don't know if that's my real name either."
