Faith's P.O.V

It has been a stressful night, nothing less. I couldn't sleep the entire time as hard as I tried to. So I just decided to keep starring at the sky until the others woke up. Right now we are all sitting in a circle eating breakfast, well if you consider a loaf of bread and a banana breakfast.

"So what are we going to be doing today?" Nate asks.

I don't know what's the point of this. 'Work with your comrades' they said. There is nothing to do here in order to work with my comrades. All we've seen till now are the same huge plants from before, some lakes, and the green weird looking floor.

"Well, I was thinking about something last night." Elijah speaks up.

Nate looks at him with a confused expression. "And what may that be?".

"You see, this is a place humans are well known to. Maybe if we look around more, we could find some clues about what happened that night." He says, eyeing everyone to see their reactions.

I am surprised myself. What night is he exactly talking about?

"You know what night. The night everything went to hell, the night they brought us here." Nirvana states with a blank expression. I don't get her to be honest. Why does she always have that cool façade all the time, when she knows everything that's happening could actually give someone a heart attack.

"You have a point there Elijah, I'm not saying you're wrong, but why would humans want to leave some evidence here? In the middle of a forest?!" Keith asks.

"I heard from Dr. Howard that the forest is where most Misfits ran to the night of the attack. But unfortunately, some of them were captured, or probably murdered." He replies.

I never thought of it. What happened the night of the attack? What happened to me? Why was I brought later then the others. Where was I all this time? I have a lot of questions to ask. I usually don't question things, I just let them be, so what's so different now?

"Now that I think of it we are pretty lucky." Nate says.

"What do you mean?" this time I ask.

"We could have been dead by now if the facility didn't save us in time. We sure owe Dr. Howard one." He chuckles.

"Yeah...we do." Eljah mumbles.

To change the awkward mood, I say "So, what's the plan?"

"Plan?" Elijah asks.

"What? Aren't we hunting for clues? We must have a plan in case something back fired."

"Mmm.... you're right. I guess we'll have to split up, or make groups."

He looks around until he speaks. "There's only five of us though, so we can't group up equally. I guess, we could have me and Keith in the first group, and You, Nirvana and Nate in the second."

"Yeah, you two ladies can't walk around alone, you need a Knight and shining armour to save you from trouble." Nate grins cockily.

"It's fine, we can look after ourselves. Let's just split up as in boys in one group, and girls in the other," Nirvana says.

Nate seems to be hurt by her harsh words, but we all know he is just joking around. "Ouch, I'm hurt Nirvana, you may think you're the hulk , but even you need protection from a fine man like me."

She rolls her eyes and scoffs. "Why don't you worry about protecting yourself pretty boy."

"Alright it has been settled I guess. Nate you're on our team, We'll go that way, you girls go the opposite way." Elijah motions, as he and the others start walking.
