"Hey Haruhi." Kyoya said calmly as Haruhi entered the host's music room. "Hi Kyoya." She replied and kept walking, not wanting to bother him. "I have a question for you." He said, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Yeah?" He smiled and held out his notebook. "Can you look over our budget for this week? I know you're good with money and Tamaki needs my attention right now." She shrugged. "Alright. Is he okay?" Haruhi took the book and rubbed her head worriedly. "Oh yes, he just said he had something to tell me and wouldn't stop waving his arms in the air. You know him." He replied, and walked away to where ever Tamaki was.
Haruhi sat at her usual table, and opened the book to the page Kyoya had asked her to review. It was a string of purchases, pending purchases and wants for all the hosts. She rubbed her big brown eyes and started crunching numbers in the calculator. Math came easily to her, but after a long school day of putting up with the twins, she was tired. "Hey Haruhi!"" Honey jumped up into the seat next to her. He could reach a little easier than last year. Honey had grown a little over the summer and this made Haruhi happy. "You're helping Kyoya?" He asked. Haruhi laughed. "How did you know?" Honey smirked. "He doesn't let anyone touch that note book." He replied, smiling devilishly. Mori came over then and picked him up. "Leave her alone." He said simply, and carried the smaller boy off fo cake. Haruhi pondered this.
"I finished!" Haruhi said an hour later, handing the notebook back to Kyoya. "You keep it." She widened her eyes. "Why don't you do that job from now on? It's much better than pouring coffee." Haruhi's heart started pounding. Honey said he never let anyone touch this notebook, now he was giving her the job that involved keeping the book? What could this mean. Tamaki seamed to notice. He dashed across the room and put an arm around Kyoya's shoulders. "But you've always done the money management... What will you do?" Kyoya smiled faintly. "see more clients, or plan more events... That sounds good!" He slid out from under the blond's arm and brushed past Haruhi. "I trust you to take good care of it." Kyoya walked away quietly, leaving Haruhi stunned. Tamaki blinked in disappointment, and walked away to mope.
