Kaidyn's POV
It's 2 days after my mom and dad "split up"
If you didn't already know Eliza Hamilton is my absolute best friend. We've been besties for at least 5 years (since 1st grade). Breaking the news to her that we won't be hanging out as much 'cuz I'm gonna be living with my mom.
*Kaidyn knocks on door, Mr. Hamilton opens the door*
Kaidyn: Afternoon, Mr. Hamilton
Mr. Hamilton: Hello Kaidyn, I wasn't expecting you
Kaidyn: Uh, I know, it's just that... I really need to talk to Eliza
Mr. Hamilton: Okay, she's upstairs, watching some television
Kaidyn: Okay, thanks
*Kaidyn walks upstairs to Eliza's room door and knocks on it*
Eliza: Yeah, who is it?
Kaidyn: It's Kaidyn
*Eliza opens door*
Eliza: Hey K.D. Wasn't expecting to see you here... What's up?
Kaidyn: Can I talk to you?
Eliza: Umm, okay
*Eliza let's Kaidyn into her room, Eliza turns off the television*
Eliza: Candy?
Kaidyn: No, I'm not really in the mood for candy right now
That statement seemed peculiar to Eliza, Kaidyn has never passed up candy before. She knew there was something terribly wrong. Kaidyn's face starts to look like an ill-ish green color, the same color the people in the cartoons would turn when they were sick.
Eliza: Hey K.D., you feeling okay?
Kaidyn: Nope...
*Kaidyn runs to the bathroom and begins to vomit, about 15minutes go by and Kaidyn walks back into the room*
Eliza: Hey... trooper. My mom just got home and brewed you some ginger tea
Kaidyn: Thanks, but I'm good
Eliza: Well, do you want to tell me what that spewing up you lunch thing was about?
Kaidyn: Uh... I don't know how I should tell you this...
*Eliza put the glass of tea down*
Eliza: What's going on?
Kaidyn: My mom and dad are... are divorce!
*Kaidyn bursts into tears*
Eliza: My goodness, I'm so sorry K.D.
*Eliza hugs and talks to Kaidyn at the same time*
Eliza: Whe... when did this happen?
Kaidyn: Tuesday
Eliza: How come you didn't tell me?
Kaidyn: Because, I didn't know how. And besides, I didn't know how you were going to react when I tell you that... I won't be able to see you quit as often as I used to
Eliza: Oh, why?
Kaidyn: 'Cuz, my dad in already moving out.
Eliza: Already?
Kaidyn: Yeah, effective next week
Eliza: Oh... well, what do we do now?
Kaidyn: I don't know. This is kinda... scary. What will I do with out you?
Eliza: You're stronger than you think K.D., you'll do just fine. And besides, we'll see each other during school
Kaidyn: I guess your right
Eliza: Just remember that I'll be here for you whenever you need it so never hesitate to come to me
Kaidyn: Okay, thanks
Eliza: And remember to answer all my phone calls and messages, and like all my pictures on Instant-Gram
Kaidyn: Wouldn't miss em' for the world!
Eliza: KK, wanna watch a movie?
Kaidyn: Which one?
Eliza: Drumcircle, with Nicolas Callon
Kaidyn: Sure...
