*Later that day, everyone was sitting in the livingroom, DEAD SILENT! Dad returns home from the scene*
Dad: Any updates on Nevaeh?
Kourtney: No, sorry Evan
Yolivia (tearing up): This is all my fault. If I had just obeyed Nevaeh and left her alone, she would be in this mess. I'm so sorry you guys.
Mom: Don't be sorry. Is wasn't your fault. You didn't shoot her
Yolivia: I just wish I could have don't something! I heard the gun shots, I should have taken her into the store
Kaidyn: You were in shock, there isn't much you could have done
Dad: Yeah. I know if you knew, you would have tried to help
Yolivia: I just... I gotta go
*Yolivia runs upstairs, bursting into tears*
Kaidyn: I'll... go get her
*Kaidyn goes upstairs to Yolivia's room to find her on her bed, crying. She knocks on her door*
Kaidyn: Yoli, can we talk?
Yolivia: I don't wanna talk, I just wanna stay here. Forever
Kaidyn: Yoli, it wasn't your fault
Yolivia: You don't get it, Kaidyn. She didn't want to come with me but I forced her. I killed her Kaidyn. (voice breaking) I killed her
Kaidyn: You didn't kill her. You tried to save her, I know you did
Yolivia: Kaidyn, she's only 13. She has her whole life ahead of her and I basically shorted it
Kaidyn: I'm not gonna keep telling you that you didn't do anything wrong. If you want to believe that, you can.
Yolivia: (crying)
*Mom walks in*
Mom: Girls, the hospital called
Kaidyn: What'd they say?
Mom: Vaeh's in critical condition, there's a 40% chance of her making it, she's going through s
Yolivia: Oh nooooooo! (sobbing)
Mom: Kaidyn, can I have a chat with Yolivia for a second?
Kaidyn: Uh, okay
*Kaidyn leaves, Mom sits on Yolivia's bed beside her*
Mom: Yolivia, I know this is extremely heart breaking for you. And I know that everyone is going to be grieving some time, but what's going on with you?
Yolivia: It's nothing, really (still crying)
Mom: I have 2 girls, and I've been spending quite awhile with Egypt. I know when a girl says it's nothing, it's totally something
Yolivia: Well... (sitting up) it's just that... Nevaeh was just lightening up to me. She told me that I could finally call her "Vaeh". Then I go and do this, I put her life in danger. What's wrong with me?
Mom: Nothing. There's just sick people in this world that go around killing innocent little girls like Vaeh. You did nothing wrong, and I'm sure she have a great time. And if she does leave us, she gonna remember the amazing time she had and the wonderful sister that tried so hard to save her life
Yolivia: Well, that makes me feel a little but better. Just a little though
Mom: Sleep on it, I promise you'll feel better in the morning
Yolivia: Okay. Thanks Ms. Leakwood

*Everyone is sleeping and the phone goes off in the living room. Yolivia is the only person who hears it because she's been up all night... thinking. She goes down stairs to to pick up the phone and answers it. It's the hospital.*
Yolivia: He... Hello?
Lady: Hi, Mr. No'Nenya
Yolivia: Hi, I mean (lowering voice)... hi
Lady: This is in regards to your daughter, Nevaeh Tyndale No'Nenya
Yolivia: Yes...
Lady: She's okay, she'll be here recovering for about 2 weeks though
Yolivia: Uh, that's okay. Thank you, bye!
Lady: Wait, she'll be having to get around with a wheelchair for a while
Yolivia: A while? How long is a while?
Lady: About 6 or more months
Yolivia: What!? Nevaeh would hate that!
Lady: Well there's not much we can do sir
Yolivia: SIR!? I mean (lowering voice)... I understand
Lady: Yes... well you can come with your family to see her at around 2ish
Yolivia: Okay, that's good. Thank you
Lady: No problem
●Morning, breakfast table, 7:45 A.M.
*The No'Nenyas, the Leakwood, and the Samsons are all at the breakfast table in, you guessed it, pure silence, but the look on Yolivia's face gave the table an uneasy vibe.*
Kourtney: Hey, Yolivia. What's wrong? You look pale and sick.
Yolivia: Um, I don't know how to say this...
Mom: Just say it kiddo
Yolivia: Well the hospital called last night
Dad: Oh, what'd they say?
Yolivia: They said she was okay and that she'd be recovering in the hospital for about 2 weeks
Kaidyn: That's great, what's wrong with that?
Yolivia: Well... she'll be accepting visits at 2 today
Egypt: Can we go see her, Mommy?
Kourtney: Sure, Ege. I still can't seem to understand why this is bad
Yolivia: She'll be in a wheelchair for about 6 months
Aaron: That's a long time Mommy
Kaidyn: No! Vaeh would hate that!
Mom: Housebound for the summer, she'd hate that
Yolivia: I know, I'm sorry!
*Yolivia throws down her fork and rushes upstairs to her bedroom in embarrassment.*
Kourtney: I'll go get her
Mom: No. She obviously needs some time to think. Nevaeh is safe and she recovering and Yolivia is still beating herself up. She needs some time to herself
Dad: I think Candice is right on this one
Kourtney: Oh, okay. But I've never seen her so sad before. I'm just worried that I'm gonna fall into depression
●1:32 P.M.
Kourtney: Is everyone ready to go to the hospital?
Dad: I think so... yeah. Let's go
*At the hospital, front desk*
Mom: Hello ma'am
Ma'am: Hello, who are you here to see?
Mom: Nevaeh No'Nenya
Ma'am: Okay, she will be in room 450 on the second floor
*The woman gives Candice 6 hospital tags with the words "450-fr2" on it and they processed to their destination. They approach Nevaeh's door and knocks on it. They walk in to find Nevaeh with her eyes closed.*
Dad: Nevaeh, baby, how are you feeling?
Nevaeh: Hi daddy
Dad: There's some people that wanted to say hi
Nevaeh: Kaidyn! Aaron! Egypt! Kourtney! Mom! Yolivia!
Kaidyn, Aaron, Egypt, Kourtney and Mom: Hey
Yolivia: H-- Hi, Vaeh
Nevaeh: Hi everyone
Yolivia: I'm really sorry this had to happen to you
Nevaeh: Oh, it isn't your fault
*Kaidyn gives Yolivia the "I told you so" glare*
Yolivia: Its been quite a while, don't y'all think?
Dad: We just got here
Yolivia: Well, time goes by when you're having fun
Kaidyn: We've literally said 20 words while being here
Yolivia: Oh. Okay, I think I'll sit in the hall
Kourtney: Uh, okay. Suit yourself
Kaidyn: I'm gonna, uh, yeah
*Kaidyn walks out the room to Yolivia*
Kaidyn: Dude, are you kidding me. What was that about?
Yolivia: Just seeing her on the hospital bed, it's just too overwhelming. I'm gonna wait here
Kaidyn: Well, everyone in there is waiting for you to come back in, and it's really taking a toll on our time
Yolivia: I'm sorry but I'm not going back in
Kaidyn: Look, I'm tired of you and this sad sack attitude, it's really getting on my last good nerve. You sitting here, blaming yourself for every thing, is pathetic. You've been told over 10 times that it just isn't your fault. IT ISN'T ABOUT YOU, YOLIVIA!! Now, you can stay here, and you can mope, I can't take it anymore, but you've been told. I will not-- I refuse to let you be the center. We are here to visit NEVAEH, not Yolivia. Feel sorry for yourself all you want at home. Run to your room, turn off all your lights, light you favorite candles for Pete's sake, do whatever you need. But right now you have 30 more minutes to tell Nevaeh how you really feel. Stay out here all you want, I don't care, but remember, you're not on your own hours

Kaidyn: Have it your way, stay out here, but do not talk to me at home if you're not gonna talk here
*Kaidyn walks inside the hospital room*
