Austin's POV

After my crying session I felt asleep. Soon I woke up when I heard some cussing and talking from the room next to me. I walked out slowly from my room and felt that everywhere was silent. It seemed like nobody was home. I started worrying about the twins so I made my way to Noah to ask if he knew where they are.

When I got into his room I heard water running. I decided to leave knowing that he was in the shower. Just as I made a step to leave I heard Noah's broken voice say "I LOVE YOU AUSTIN AND I PROMISE I WILL DO ANYTHING FOR US TO BE BACK TOGETHER." That was the most shocking thing I've ever heard. Instead of going out I went into the opposite direction.

There stood a naked Noah under the water with a blade on  his skin with blood on the floor in the bathroom. He didn't noticed me until I grabbed his wrist preventing him from cutting. 

"A-austin." He tried to talk but I just ignore that and took the blade from him. I closed the water and gave him a towel. At that time I didn't even care even if he was naked. I lifted the toilet lid, threw the blade in it and flushed it. Noah had already went into his room with a sad face.

I tried to clean the room a bit then took out a bandage and a tube of cream. I went into the room and saw that now he was fully dress in a short sleeved green shirt and sweatpants sitting on the bed with his head in his hand which were on his knees against his chest. I made my way to him and sat in front of him.

"Noah please look at me." I said while putting a hand on his shoulder. He lifted his head and look at me. He's eyes were bloodshot and let looked really sad. I tried to tale his arm in mine but he wouldn't let me.

"Please." I whisper while trying again and this time he let me. I took his hand in mine and look at it carefully. There were 3 deep red cuts on his arm. I traced my fingertips lightly on them. I applied the cream carefully without hurting him then wrapped the bandage around his hand.

"I am sorry." He said while putting his arms in his lap.

"Its okay."

"No. Its not okay. Its all my fault."

"Please don't blame yourself."

" I am sorry. I should have told you. I just didn't want you to be stressed. I swear I was going to tell you later. But I didn't expect you to find out like that." He said while looking at down at this hands.

"Its okay! I know that you didn't intend on hiding this from me. I was just hurt that's why I was upset. I didn't mean to behave like that. Why did you cut though?" I asked

"I was scared that you were going to leave me like others did. I didn't want to leave you alone. I keep doing mistakes and hurt people that I care for. I didn't even deserve you. I feel hurt and disappointed because I made you upset and sad. I made you cry. I didn't mean for anything like that to happen. Please trust me." He said while holding my hands in his.

"Listen to me. I am not gonna leave you. Please don't blame yourself like that. I appreciate that you care about me. Its me who is lucky to deserve someone great like you. I am glad that you are here with me. You are helping me and I trust you."

"How could you be so nice to me after I've hurt you? When I've been a failure? You'll eventually feel tired of me and leave me."

"STOP TALKING LIKE THAT. OKAY? I TRUST YOU AND ALWAYS BE HERE FOR YOU. YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE. DON'T THINK SO LOW OF YOURSELF. THE PEOPLE WHO LEFT YOU DIDN'T DESERVED YOU. NOW STOP SAYING THESE STUPID THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF. CAN YOU PROMISE TO SHARE ANYTHING WITH ME AND NOT CUT?"

I asked and he stayed silent. He looked at me then let his eyes drop into his lap. I waited for an answer but he didn't say anything. It hurts knowing that he couldn't believe me.

"Its o-okay if you d-don't trust me. I know I am not the best person who can make you happy because I cause a lot of problems." I said while standing from my sitting position just to be stop by him saying "I trust you. I promise I won't cut again." He was staring right in my eyes.

"Thank you. Where are the twins?" I asked breaking eye contact with him.

"They are at my grandma's place. My parents will be home late so my mum suggested to leave them there on her way to the office."

"Okay! Now get some sleep. You seem tired." I wanted to ask him about the I love you thing but I let it go.

"Can you stay with me?" He asked with hope laced into his voice.

"U-m are you sure?"

"Please?"

"Okay. Just this time." I said while laying on the other side of the bed. Noah switched off the lamp and put on the blanket around our bodies.

"Good night!" I said when I felt my eyes start to close.

"Good night! I lo- sorry."

"What was that?"

"Nothing. Just sleep."

Just as my eyes closed I heard Noah said "We could start it all over again."
