Everything was perfect.
My boyfriend was a gentleman and the hottest boy in year ten, I was popular and quite pretty to add, I was smart, my parents weren't unreasonably strict, I had a ton of good friends and I had awesome times, because the best of times happen right of the coast of the beautiful California.
Currently it was the end of summer, and can I just say it was one of the best summers to boot! Staying up till the morning with my favourite people on the beach with a bonfire and drinks, going to parties, having the most wicked tan ever and I had kept off all the weight I had lost two years ago!
It can't get much bettr than this... its impossible! This was exactly what I dreamed of, what every book was ever written about. Awesome summer stories livin it up on the coast where the boys are pretty but the girls are prettier. The only downside was the school was coming up fast, only a week and a half until year eleven started, and to say I was a little stressed was a huge understatement.
Although I had a 4.0 GPA, this was pick a university or college year. No doubt I was aiming for Princeton, but I needed everything to just slow down a little bit. Before I know it, I'll be graduating from my more perfect than perfect life and off to uni I go, only to become successful with a kick ass job and travelling everywhere... I had it all planned out.
But who knew the end of the best summer of my life could of taken such a terrible turn?
