Fury filled me when I realized Jobe was surfing with Sam, my swolen enemy since today!!!
No doubt she was trying to steal him now!!! And it didn't help that she surfed, and seemed pretty good by the looks of it. And to boot, she had a killer body in her bikini, that was white just to show off her natural tan. Of course it got worse than that. They looked happy, like they were having a great time. Pardon me for wanting to ruin the cute little thing she had going with MY BOYFRIEND.
I sat on the boardwalk and just watched, waiting for her to make her move. They caught a few more waves, but then he told her something that made her frown. Take that you brunette she-devil I snickered to myself, only two seconds later did karma have its way with me.
She slung her arms around him and engulfed him in a huge hug, then gave him her million dollar smile and headed back towards the waves. He turned with a smile on his face, and started making his way towards the board walk.
I stood up and began to run away, back to my house. My face contorted as I tried to hold back my tears. How much worse can the first day of school get? As soon as I reached my house I kicked off my shoes, stripped in record timing and hopped into the shower, having my the sound of running water dorwn out the sound of me crying.
Was it bad that my boyfriend could have a better time with a girl he met a mere few hours ago than with his girlfriend of almost seven months? I didn't want to think about it anymore. This wasn't fair!!! How could this girl just march in and have everything her way and leave me here. I was the queen bee here and nothing would stop me from fulfilling my duty.
I reached my house unaware that I was panting and sweating like crazy, because the rage had engulfed me. I ran upstairs, threw off my sweaty running clothes, threw on my hottest bikini and headed out towards the beach again. I saw Jobe with his buddies and headed in the opposite direction of them. After walking for a couple minutes, I reached a spot near the lifeguards stand that looked perfect to tan and relax on. I placed my water bottle in the sand, my shades over my eyes and sun bathed, and bathed in the cat calls and boys whistling at me.
I smiled to myself. Ha, I'm still hot to all the boys here. I decided to go for a quick dip and walked towards the water with my hips swaying. One thing I was lucky to have was the genetics to eat almost anything I wanted and barely gain a pound, thank you fast metabolism!
I pranced into the cold water and yipped as it splashed against my disposed mid drift. I looked down and admired my bikini; it was a deep purple top and bright coral bottoms, my two favourite colours, and it complimented my tan amazingly. And because of the double strings on the sides of the bottoms, it made my legs look ten times longer, and made me look taller too.
After a few minutes wading in the cool blue water and waving to the boys on the shore, I waded back and assumed my position on the ground. It was only until a large figure obstructed the sun from my view that I was disturbed.
"Um... excuse me, you're blocking the..." I ended. I squinted up to see a broad figure standing in front of me... Jobe.
"Oh hi babe, I didn't even know you were here" I sweetly smiled at him although my instincts told me to do differently.
"Um, do you know those dudes over there?" he questioned, motioning to the boys that had hit on my earlier. They were still looking my way, intrigued.
"No clue whatsoever" I said dismissively, lying back down with a sure smile on my face, making sure Jobe felt as jealous as I was.
"Why were you talking to them then?" He asked, sounding a little pissed off and hurt.
"They just said hi Jobe, its honestly nothing to be worried about..."
"Then why are they heading over here Kay? What the hell did you say to them?!" he honestly said a little afraid.
I propped myself up on my elbows and turned around to see a group of three or four buff beach boys heading towards Jobe and I. I got a little nervous so I got all the way up and brushed myself off, trying to look presentable.
"Hey there little miss, is this guy here buggin ya?" one of the boys asked. He had wavy brown hair and bright gray eyes, with cute little dimples when he smirked.
"This guy happens to be here boyfriend" Jobe spoke up, with a territoral tone to his voice.
"Woah woah woah... just wonderin" the boy said again, backing away.
I shot Jobe a look, and then smiled at the boys "Sorry, I am taken" I laughed lightly and looked to the ground, a bit flustered.
"Its a shame, you better treat her right buddy" the boy said to Jobe, then nodded his head to me then turned to walk away.
"What the hell Jobe?!" I scream whispered once we were out of ear shot.
"What the hell me, what the hell you!!" he returned the jab.
"You don't have to be so goddamn controlling, I'm YOU'RE girlfriend remember!!!! I like you!!!" I replied with anger in my voice. How dare he get jealous of a boy just TALKING to me while hes out hanging out with other girls and hugging them too!!!
"You're right, I'm sorry... I just know those types of guys and they can be the biggest assholes..." he apologized.
"Yeah I get it... guess I got lucky with you" I looked up and winked at him. He looked so vulnerable right now... DAMMIT KAY DON'T LET THE CUTENESS GET TO YOU... too late.
"Whatchya doin' later baby?" I asked him.
"Nothing I don't think, why?
"Chinese and foreign movies?" Foreign movies and black and white movies where a hobby we shared, and we made little date nights out of watching old classics.
"Sounds good, but I have to be home a bit earlier to finish off some homework..." he broke eye contact and stared toward the pie, where standing there was the devil herself.
