Chapter 16

A/N: I am so sorry for the long wait. I was disconnected from the internet for a week or two . But I'm going to change this part up a bit so just go with it.

Kira POV:

Team seven (except Naruto) was now walking with Tazuna to the soon-to-be completed bridge.

My eyes narrowed when I saw bodies lying everywhere. Tazuna and Sakura tensed, I cautiously walked up to one of the bodies of the workers and felt for a pulse.

A sigh of relief made its way through my mouth when I felt a pulse indicating that the workers were only unconscious.

"It's fine, there only unconscious not dead" I stated.

"Well, well, well, still have those brats with you Kakashi? Oh look, that one is still trembling with fear" Zabuza started as a mist started to form.

I quickly made my way towards my team and Tazuna. Kakashi was already in front protecting us as we protected Tazuna.

Sasuke smirked cockly "I'm trembling with excitement" he retorted.

Zabuza made a few water clones who were standing around us.

Kakashi's eyes shifted to sasuke and he nodded at him. "Go for it Sasuke"

Sasuke immediately jumped into action and executed the clones without a sweat, well that's what everyone thought, when I caught sight of another clone running behind sasuke at full speed.

I activated my Baiddogan and shunshined(sp?) behind Sasuke. I decided to use gentle fist and strike right at his heart causing the water clone to disperse.

Sasuke turned his head towards me and glared but thanked me for saving him.

Kakashi smirked.

Suddenly Zabuza started to laugh maniacally. "Well, well, well. It seems you have yourself some rivals Haku"

The hunter nin from before appeared.

My eyes narrowed as the assumption my team and I came up woth proved us right. 'Haku' had been working with Zabuza all along.

I then started to analyse my apponent as everyone began to talk about Haku.

Quickly realising that now was my chance, I took out two kunai and three shuriken; throwing them all at an incredible speed, heading straight towards Haku.

Just as it was about to hit him, it was deflected by senbon needles.

Haku turned to face Sasuke and I.

Sasuke decided to start things off with a Taijutsu battle.

I began to make hand signs as Sasuke and Haku began to fight.

When I was done I called out for Sasuke. "Sasuke! Move!"

Sasuke looked at me and knew what I was about to did and instantly moved aside.

I inhaled deeply and exhaled.
"Fire style: Great fireball jutsu!" I chanted.

The huge fireball made it way to Haku who was still at the same place where him and Sasuke was.

Third person POV:

As the fireball was about to make contact with Haku, he jumped back only to be seen with a burnt arm.

Kakashi smirked at the team that was being used by Sasuke and Kira.

"You've made a mistake underestimating these genin. Sasuke here is the number one of Konoha. Sakura is our sharpest mind on the team. Kira? So much is yet to be discovered but I know she is the prodigy and last survivor of the Hajime clan. Then there's Naruto the number one, knuckleheaded ninja of the hidden leaf." He explained.
