Chapter 20

Kira's POV:

I activated my Baiddogan and looked around the room, I noticed that there was one shinobi next to Naruto who seemed to know what he was writing so I decided to sneak my answers off of him.

I had managed to answer most of the answers based off of my own knowledge, but the rest I took it upon myself to cheat.

I sighed when I saw Naruto panicking, one thing went through my mind.

'Dont fail'

I glanced at the kunoichi who decided to interrupt in the exam so suddenly known as Anko Mitarashi.

"Alright you maggots, meet tomorrow for now you can have a break. Your Sensei will notify you of where you will meet."

Her eyes then began to scan the room, until it landed on mine, she smirked and spoke once again.

"So, he finally decided to let the Hajime in the exams huh, this exam is definitely the most interesting exam" she chuckled and left the place leaving me confused.

'He finally? What was she talking about?' I thought to myself, I shook the thought off and walked to Naruto.

He was smiling and cheering that we passed, I sighed but smiled at his attitude.

"Kira-Chan! We passed the first exam, believe it!" He then ran at me and gave me a suffocating hug.

Suddenly I was pulled back to stop me from slowly dying in the arms of my best friend. It happened to be non other than my other male teammate, Sasuke; who was glaring at Naruto with such anger.

"You idiot, I don't need a teamate dying during the exams and I definitely do not want to be disqualified for yiur stupidity" Sasuke seemed to be pulling me closer to him, I sighed and stood in front of both boys before a fight was about to happen.

"Alright, thats enough you two. Lets just get going, we've already wasted time. I'm starting to get a headache and both of you baka's aren't helping with your arguments."

Both boys said nothing but send each other a deadly and dangerous glare.

I rolled my eyes and started to walk ahead of my team to where we will meet up with Kakashi. Sakura caught up with me and decided to ask a question I knew someone was going to ask me.

"Why do you take Chunin rank missions and jonin at that?"

I sighed and kept walking, not even glancing at her or the boys who were behindus but seemed to be eavesdropping in on it.

"I take them in order to challenge myself and push myself unto my limits, I can't just sit around and do Genin training. If I want to achieve my goal, then I must train hard and endure all the pain and tradegy that has yet to come. I must ready myself for the path that awaits me."

Sakura and the rest seemed to be shocked by my answer. I ignored them and continued walking ahead.

Sakura's POV :

'What problems has she been through to become someone like this???'

Sasuke's POV :

'In a way, what she says seems to be something someone would say when they suffered something so horrifying'

Naruto's POV :

'What happened when you were younger Kira-Chan? Was our past similar? Are you, Sasuke and I the same?' What path are you going to take?

Third person POV :

Everyone wondered about what Kira was saying, they were so in deep thought that they hadn't noticed the extra two presense that was watching them from the shadows.

"It seems that we have caught ourselves something" one of them mused as they watched team 7 walk towards their destination.

"Hai, and a unique one at that" His voice was deep and raspy, it sounded as if he had been screaming his entire life from suffering that his voice gave up on him.

The two figures dissapeared in a flash, but not before a certain Jonin had taken notice of them and repoted to the Hokage.
