"Our weakness becomes our strength. It's what makes us stronger, helps is grow, helps us to be able to protect the ones we love, it helps us to be able to bring people like you down. But it also gives us pain, and lets us suffer. It causes conflict...
It was the a few days until the finals for the exams to begin and Kira spent it all by doing intense training.
The Hokage had given her a set of weights for her arms and legs to help build her speed as she climbed up hills and back down repeatedly with no use of Chakra at all.
She read books based on ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu to get a better understanding of it, she learned new skills and techniques and even learned more about her family and clan as well as the secrets to their well known Kekkei Genkai.
Kira leaned on a tree as she tried catching her breath and wiped away the sweat that came pouring down from her forehead, her throat was dried up and hurt every time she inhaled. Her arms and legs were aching each time she took a single step, she could feel her body radiating heat as a small breeze whizzed by her.
The Hokage calmly walked towards her and stopped when he stood gracefully next to her with a smoke pipe in hand.
"I think it is time we take a little break don't you think Kira? You've already over worked yourself and reached your limits not to mention that I have already taught you all that you need to know to fight and you now have a better understanding of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu."
Kira looked up at him with nothing but a sigh escaping her lips she placed her book down and swiftly put it away.
"It's fine, I haven't been over working myself and if I were then I would have been in the hospital. Besides, if I'm going up against a jonin then I would be needing all the training I can get to get stronger, I need to to get stronger to defeat my opponent if I want to get promoted."
The third looked at her with a thoughtful expression that hid another expression behind it. He watched as she began to make her way to the target board and start on her accuracy yet again.
"Kira, you must have your rest now. If you don't get a proper rest then there will be a chance where you will lose your battle and fail to be promoted"
Kira's POV:
I scoffed and shook my head.
"With all due respect Sensei, I would appreciate it if you don't tell me what I can and cannot do. Your only here to train me not take care of me, which I am more than capable of doing"
Immediately I felt regret wash over me as those words slipped out of my mouth.
'You idiot! This is the Hokage your talking to!!' I began scolding myself.
The Hokage sighed and nodded. "My deepest apologies Kira, I didn't mean it as if you were incapable of taking care of yourself."
"No, I'm sorry. I'm just under a lot of stress and pressure right now and I think it's finally getting to me"
"This reminds me of when your mother had to fight a jounin back when she was doing the chunin exams."
I looked at the Hokage who stood formally a few metres in front of me. I wiped the sweat away from my forehead and then proceeded into sitting down.
He nodded his head and pulled out a scroll and summoned something from it; a sword.

I shuffled back and back flipped when the sword almost took a chunk out of my leg.
The Hokage must have noticed as he scratched the back of his head.
"I apologise my dear." I shook my head and began examining the sword. It was similar to Zabuza's one except it's much more thinner.
"Who does this sword belong to? " I asked.
"Your mother."
Third person POV:
Kira's eye were wide with shock and pride-something she believed was evil since pride could get people killed-and she began to trace her fingers delicately over the engravings of the sword that said 'Karasu.'
"Crow" Kira spoke out.
"Yes, but also Raven. She had the summoning of both crows and ravens. Your mother was the one who had taught Itachi Uchiha the summoning jutsu and gave him the contract for crows."
A sad smile had made its way on Kira's face.
"And I'm guessing that a Sensei of mine gave me the contract to summon Ravens? You should know who by now Hokage-sama."
"Hiruzen-Sensei" he corrected.
"But yes I do know the Sensei who gave you that contract and have known for quite a while."
Kira looked up at him. Her eyebrows arched andher body stopped any sorts of movement whatsoever that were being made.
"If you knew then why didn't you say anything about it?"
"Because he was the only one capable of ever being able to getting you this strong, your mother was the one who asked him to teach you the things she taught him."
Kira thought her mother to only be someone who didn't like violence and all since she never saw her mother ever in ninja like clothing but in beautiful silk material of a kimono.
She then shook her head knowing that they both were getting off topic.
"So why are you showing me this sword Sensei?"
The Hokage smiled.
This was something he had wanted to do after he had taught Kira everything not he was only capable of but also her mother. He wanted to pass these techniques on to one of his former students daughter and legacy.
Something he hoped would be passed on to Kira's offspring if she decided on it.
"I'm showing you this sword my dear Kira, because I want you to put this into good use and make everyone see what this weapon once was"
He then began to reseal the sword back into the scroll, giving it to Kira who gratefully accepted.
"This sword was known across the nation especially the one who wielded the sword, you mother.
With this sword, your mother was known as 'Shi no Megami' meaning the goddess of death, seeing as whoever shall cross paths with her shall face death. She never came back with a mission fail. Your mothers job was to bring back the heads of any shinobi who betrayed the village and began to leak information to other villages about our clans, strengths, weaknesses, kekkei genkai that was within the clans and allvthe informarion required to defeat the Anbu black ops."
Kira didn't know her mother was able to do something like this nor did she expect her mother to. It was something that had nver been told to her before, something she thought truly unexpected.
Kira remembered her mother to be kind, gentle, caring and loving. Something all mothers are or should be, not someone who was capable of killing, Kira didn't like killing but she was capable of it as well as everyone else, she remebered killing the guys back in the forest of death after getting in her way of trying to fet to her team. If she wanted-and she did-to carry on her mothers legacy then Kira would have to be a lot stringer then now and would have to do more intense training to be on par with the strength of 'Shi no Megami'.
