A/N: I've decided to do Third Person POV, because I've been doing that sort of writing in a while..."So, spill it!" Edmund asked hesitantly, as he sat between the two girls and Caspian.
"So... here's what happened..." Gani began to explain as the memories flew across her mind like a wave of flashbacks.
/flashback starts/
"Are we there yet?" Claire groaned, as she gripped on Spirit's mane sleepily, "I'm getting real tired.
"Almost there, Milady," Maximus told her as they went through twigs and branches. The forest was dark and quiet, only the sounds of whinnies and neighs surrounded the air.
"So, Maximus, what's the deal with this whole place? Why are there talking animals and stuff?" Gani asked the majestic horse, breaking off the silence.
Maximus neighed and shook his mane, "I can't really explain to you, Milady. Let's just let the King explain everything."
"LOOK! WE'RE HERE ALREADY!" Spirit whinnied and became to advance faster. The group arrived at the beautiful sanctuary. Gani smiled at the sight of it. It was just like places she'd read in novels and fairytales. The torches burned near the gates, showing off the incredible carvings on each piece of stone and wood.
"Halt! Who goes there?!" a low voice entered the space, shocking the group.
"Prince Caspian! Greetings, Your Highness!" both Maximus and Spirit saluted the tall Mediterranean man in sync.
"Greetings too, Maximus. Spirit. Now, who are these two lovely women I might ask?" The Prince asked them in a rather flirtatious tone, "Have you brought me my future brides?"
"Ew, sorry, I'm taken..." Claire muttered under breath. The Prince was extremely handsome like an angel from heaven, but a little too old for the both of them. He was like 35 probably.
A/N: Ew, pedo alert, WARNING WARNING!"No, Your Highness, they were just lost in the woods. Seeing from their clothes, they clearly aren't from here, Sir," Maximus explained. He had impeccable observation, considering he was the The Head of the Patrol Police.
"Oh well, you two can rest in my Father's tent right over there," the Prince pointed towards a small tent that was lit with a small yellow lantern from the inside.
The two girls slowly followed the Prince and opened the tent doors.
"Excuse us, Your Highness," Gani said, as she entered the tent.
An old man, with long silver hair sat on the ground, where the tent stood. He was enjoying his evening tea. When he saw them, his face lit up with joy.
"Who might you two be?" he asked, as he put down his cup.
The two girls curtsied with poise and bowed their heads, "My name is Gani Gertude."
"And mine's Claire Mason."The old man smiled and let them enter. Through the night, King Caspian told them stories of his adventures with the Pevensies, the kings and queens of old. Gani and Claire's eyes widened everytime they heard the name Aslan, the lion and King Peter the Magnificent or King Edmund the Just.
/flashback ends/
"And that my friend, is how we got here," Claire laughed, as she ruffled Edmund's hair, messing his do up.
"So why are we here?" Peter asked old Caspian, as he took a sip of one of the drinks laid out to him by the servants.
Caspian looked at him and shook his old head, "I'm afraid I do not know, my friend. I wasn't the one of who called you. Perhaps it was someone else?"
Confusion bobbled inside their minds, as opposed to the fact that they'd been called out to Narnia once again, when Aslan told them they would never be able to come back.
"But, why didn't Lucy and Susan come along with us?" Edmund asked him, as she threw his arm around Claire, "They are also the Queens of old, aren't they? Then why didn't they arrive with us?"
"Yes and why did Lucy get sucked out of this world all of a sudden?! She said something about Aslan, then she suddenly got sucked into a portal to who knows where?!" Gani added, as she nervously rubbed the palms of her hands into her lap.
Old Caspian shook his head. He couldn't answer all their questions. He only could sit there and assure that they all were safe. Just that. "I'm sorry to hear that. But, I'm afraid I can't answer all your questions. I've never been the same after the incident."
"What incident?" Peter asked him, getting more confused and curious by the second.
Old Caspian gritted his teeth, unable to speak, but then the Young Caspian answered for him, "Aslan is dead."
Shock and horror filled the room. They all thought the same thing that Aslan couldn't die.
"That is why no one believes in the old lion again. He's dead. He's never shown himself to anyone ever since a year after you all left Narnia," the Young Prince explained blankly, as if he didn't care at all of The Majestic Lion.
"What do you mean died? How do you even know that he's dead?!" Peter asked him.
"We don't exactly know he's dead or not," The Old Caspian continued, "After you left, there was a Great War. Aslan helped us and he suddenly got stabbed right in the heart. We didn't know if he survived or not. Narnia hasn't been the same ever since."
"Where's the body?" Claire asked him. She didn't ask him out of curiosity, more like she wanted to dissect the beast.
"I don't know. It disappeared," Caspian replied, as he began to lean down on his flat mattress and began to drift off to sleep. Caspian was already so old and weak. The four children was a little sad to see him like that.
"Should we?" Peter started talking to Edmund, as if they could read each other's minds.
"Maybe we should," Edmund replied determinedly.
"Alright, it's settled then!" Peter and Edmund laughed, leaving the 2 girls confused at their weird short conversation.
"What the fudge are you guys talking about?!" Claire finally asked them, her patience running thin.
Edmund whispered in her ear gently and she finally understood. She whispered to Gani about their plan. The four kids' hearts were set on their quest.
Their quest to find Aslan.
