Chapter 1B - Her

Peter's POV

I turned off my phone after talking to Gani. I sighed and memories from our relationship back then came flowing back.

*Flashback*

"Peter! Stop that!" Gani shrieked as I started tickling her. She hated when I tickle her or even tease her.
"Make me stop," I tickled even harder as she laughs even louder.
"PLEASE STOP ALREADY!" She finally bursted out. I stopped tickling and she started catching her breath.
"So what was this huge news you were gonna tell me?" She asked as she looked at me with those big puppy eyes. Those amazing wide hazel eyes always made me get butterflies in my stomach.
"So, Father is taking me to America tomorrow," I stated, still worried about cutting it.
"That's amazing, Pete! So when are you coming back then?" Gani smiled and asked. Oh my-- Her smile just puts me in a stroke state, but I had to tell her the truth.
"Gani, the problem is I'm not coming back," I bit my lip and waited for her reaction.
"Wait! You're dumping me?! After the 5 years we've been through?!" She boomed out. It was like lightning struck my whole body.
"Gani, listen. I don't want to but--" my words her cut by her rage,
"No more excuses Peter! We're through! I thought we could last but well, that was a bust," her words were like fire that shot at me in that second. The front door flew open and shut with a bang. In a split second, Gani, the love of my life was gone.

*Flashback ends*

After the amazing then horrid flashback, I finally realized that what could I ever do to win her heart back again? How could I ever ask her forgiveness for that day? The breakup? Which left me crying and sobbing for 72 hours plus on the plane ride to America? I didn't know. That was when Ed came in, and that was the only shot I got at getting her back. Since Ed was pretty good with the ladies, I figured why not?
"Hey Ed. I talked to Gani," I said as Ed came in the room and sat beside me on he couch.
"So? I was right wasn't I? She still likes you doesn't she?" Ed asked being all curious and all. He probably was going to interrogate me till my head blows. One minor detail I left out. After I broke up with Gani, Ed took a gamble at asking Gani out because Ed kind of grew fond of her, so Ed was probably the last person I should've ask, but I was desperate.
"You're so cocky you know that! And no, you weren't right. Gani didn't sound interested in me anymore. I kind of hates my guts. She turned the amusement park thing down." I explained
"No, trust me big brother. All girls say that and no big deal. You'll see her eventually, but just to reassure. We are definitely going to that amusement park right?" Sheesh, we were talking about Gani and I but Ed's head wasn't in the game. His head was all stuck to the amusement park. Well hope he doesn't blow his head off on the roller coaster.
