Everything Is Okay

We stopped kissing and were still looking into each other's eyes. I was speechless. I grabbed his hands that were still around me and pulled them off of me. I stopped smiling and ran to Mae. I grabbed her wrist and ran up the stairs with her. I felt a tear run down my face. I ran up the other stairs, went into my bedroom, closed the door and locked it. I threw myself on my bed and started crying in my hands. Mae was standing up in front of my bed. She asked, "Joy? What's wrong?" I jumped up and had tears all over my face. "Niall..." I said. "I liked the kiss Mae!" "Oh my gosh really?! That's great!" Mae said. "No Mae! It's not!" I said still crying. "What? Why not?!" Mae asked. "He is my friend. And I just wrecked that! Ugh! I just hate myself right now!" I said crying even more. "Joy, it's gonna be okay. Everything's gonna be okay. It was just a game! Don't get so upset! Just don't think about it..." Joy said. "You're right. I'm sorry." I said. "You are forgiven." Mae said. I heard a knock at my door and Niall say, "Joy?! Are you in there?! If so, I'm so sorry! I never wanted to hurt you!" I opened the door with a smile and dry tears. I looked at him and said, "It's alright Niall." "Are you sure? Are you alright?" Niall asked concerned like. "Yes Niall. Thanks for checking up on me." I said with a smile.
