Not The Only Liar

"What is your problem Liam?" I could barely say, as I continued to cry. "You lied to me Joy! You lied to me..." he said, keeping his eyes on the road. "Is that the only thing you can think of? So all of this is..." I said, looking down. "That was wrong, Joy." he said, looking mad and upset. "And what you just did wasn't?" I asked, looking up at him. "What are you talking about! What did I ever do to you that was worse than lying for months?" He asked in an angered tone. "Oh, like you don't know..." I said with a bit of attitude. "Go on, tell me then." He said. Oh, so now he's actually listening to me? "..." I held back the tears and emotions for a moment, and began to be brave, like never before, "...are you kidding me, Liam? You made me leave...you made me give up the only thing I have in this world." I said. "Joy, you have me!" He yelled. "Are you listening to yourself? You're not here for me. It's like I'm talking to...a ghost. I don't know you anymore." I said, trying to speak my mind and express my emotions. I continued, "And Niall...he's about the only thing I love." He quickly responded definitively, "You're too young to know what love is." I laughed, "Oh come on, we're the same age Liam!" He responded with, "So...what is your point? I've never been in love." "So what about Mae?" I asked. "Who's Mae?" He asked, getting nervous all of the sudden. "I think you know exactly who Mae is..." I said. "So? And if I do? What about this..."Mae"?" He asked. "You are in love with her...well, I guess "were" would be more appropriate, since you've already forgotten about her." "I never said I forgot about her!" He defended. I yelled, "You just lied to me! I'm not the only one who's been lying for months, you hypocrite!" He attempted to turn the car around...and that's all I remember. Everything went black. My eyes flickered open, and I looked around to see glass shards everywhere, and Liam, with closed eyes, beside me. What happened?
