Chapter 7

Happiness was overflowing in both Howl and Sophie (skipping to the home) As Sophie walks in and then howl walks in and shuts the door behind him. Markl come running downstairs, "So do I get a brother or sister?" Markl asks. Sophie and Howl both look at each other and exchange agreeing glances. Sophie. "Markl you're having a little sister," Sophie said. Markl smile faded, he didn't want a sister , even though they wouldn't be blood-related. He still wanted a brother. So they could learn magic together and for the child to look up to him. "B-but I wanted a brother." He finally said. There were tears starting to form and he turned around a ran upstairs, into his room.

Sophie looks back at Howl in confusion. Howl was also confused because he's never seen that side of Markl before. He's seen the annoying side of Markl and the hyper side but never this. Howl didn't really know what to call it really, then howl saw Sophie's face. It is had confusion but also sorrow."I'll go talk to him." Howl said to Sophie. Sophie lit up with a small smile. "Thank you," she said softly. Howl walks over to Sophie presses his lips onto her soft lips and then heads to walk up the stairs.

A/N: I know I keep apologizing but I feel so bad that I haven't published in a while and I know the plot is very mixed up, but I'm trying my very hardest to make it, make sense. But thank you for guys support they make me smile and hope to write more on this book and finish it. However, I don't think I will be posting much in the next month or two because I have exams next month and then I might be busy in the summer (and I also barely have no ideas).
