Date Night with Carl

You smiled thoughtlessly as you paced back and forth through your cell. Carl asked you on a date! Of course this wouldn't be your first date with Carl but it always managed to make you extremely nervous and excited. As you paced you started to day dream, thinking about the date. As you daydreamed you lost sense of the world, basically going into your own head. In the middle of your dream you heard some one clear their throat, snapping you back to reality. You looked at the person who cleared their throat, it was Maggie, your sister.
"May I come in?" she asked politely, as she stepped inside. She always asked that question but she never let you answer , always stepping in before you had a chance to reply. You didn't care though, you honestly found it rather plesant.
She strode across your room, sitting on your bed carefully. You Sat across from her in the small chair that you had.
"Are you and Carl going on another date?" she asked, giving a knowing smile.
You nodded wildly grinning from ear to ear. You two proceeded to talk on end for the next few hours,  passing the time until your date finally came.

As the time neared you told Maggie good bye and got ready. You wore your favorite shirt paired with your pants that were both stylish and comfortable.  You looked over your self once more before you hurried of to meet Carl. 

It only took a few minutes to arrive at your destination. Luckily, you were just on time and as you finally turned the corner you saw him waiting there for you. His back was turned to you and you decided to take advantage of that. You moved carefully and slowly, trying your hardest to be silent.  Once you were standing right behind him you jumped at him, making him jump ever so slightly. He turned around to face you, a hint of suprise was clear in his facial expresion.
"(Y/N) don't do that to me!" he said, chuckling under his breathe.
You giggled like a little school girl as you spoke, "Did I scare you?"

Carl grabbed your waist pulling you closer to him. "Of course not." he said said as he rested his head on your shoulder. You wrapped your arms around him and you two stood like that for a moment, relaxing in each other's arms. Soon Carl pulled away, making you frown a little bit.
Carl intertwined his fingers with yours before speaking again, "Come on. I made something special for you."
As he finished his sentence, he began leading you to a building that was vacant. The closer you got to the building, the more curious you became.
"Where are we-" your sentence was immediantly cut off by Carl shushing you.
"It's a suprise!" he said excitedly.

The two of you reached the building and Carl hurried to open the door for you. You smiled and said a joyful 'thank you' before stepping in. Carl quickly followed after you, shutting the door behind him. He put his hands over your eyes, blinding you.
You let out a small yelp in protest but after he told you it was part of the suprise you let him continue. He led you excitedly for a moment before stopping abruptly.

"Ready?" he asked.
You nodded happily, not daring to say a word. Carl pulled his hands away slowly, revealing the beautiful scene to you. He had led you to a room, you knew that much but you weren't expecting this. The room had candles set around it, illuminating it romantically. There were rose petals scattered across the floor and in the center of the room lay a table with a bouquet of flowers and some food. Finally you noticed a small couch-like piece of furniture that at quietly in the corner.  Your hands covered your mouth as you gasped. Carl stood beside you, blushing slightly.
"Do you like it?" he asked shyly.
"Yes!" you exclaimed joyfully, " I love it!"

Carl smiled and took his hand in yours again, leading you to the table. You two sat down and you had began eating the lovely meal that had been prepared. The night semed to fly by as you talked and ate, not having a single care in the world. Soon you two finished your meal and moved to the couch.

Carl sat with his arm wrapped around you protectively while You leaned against him with your head resting on his shoulder. Carl played with your hair thoughtlessly as your conversation continued. Soon your conversation dwindled down and a comfortable silence fell between you two. Slowly you began to fall asleep. When you were on the verge of sleep you heard Carl's voice whisper,  " I love you, (Y\N)"

"I love you too." you said happily and that was the last thing you remebered before you fell asleep.
