You went to watch your nephew game at his school. He was in middle school. After the game, you were walking out the door when you ran into someone. The person spilt your coffee all over you. "I'm so sorry. I should have watched where I was going." The man said. You sighed. "Uh. It's okay. Don't worry about it." You said forcing a smile on your face. "Hi, (Y/N/N). You know her?" The man asked your nephew. He nodded. "Yes coach." Your nephew said forcing a deep, but strong voice. Your nephews friends dragged him out of the gym. "I'll be back in a minute." Your nephew said following his friends. The man handed you napkins. "Here. Again, sorry about that. My name is Negan. Let me at least make it up to you. How about coffee or dinner?" He asked with a smile. You smirked and held your hand out for his phone. You put your number in. "(Y/N). Beautiful name for a beautiful woman." He said. You waved goodbye and left to meet your nephew at the car.
"You gave my coach your number. That's disgusting." He said in the passenger seat next to you. "Oh, Shut up." You laughed with him.
This was the start of something new for you and it was all thanks to your nephew and a cup of coffee.
