Chapter 1

Monday-4:00 pm

Summer

"Baby I missed you." I said on FaceTime with my boyfriend Tré.

"I missed you too baby." He said.

Me and Tré have been together for going on 4 years now but we've never managed to see each other he lives in Africa but he's from California and I live in Texas and the distance kills us but makes us love each other more.

"What you do today?"

"Went and played some ball with the boys."

"Oh ok you had fun?"

"Yea I guess it was straight until Chance ass decided to start cheating so we stopped playing."

"Lol that boy is always cheating he that sorry?"

"He lowkey is lol I ain't gone lie, but what you do today babygirl?"

"I went to work and when I tell you it was horrible I almost wanted to walk out on those rude ass customers."

"What happened baby?"

"Ok so some girl came in thinking she was just gone be rude talking to me crazy, like I was just doing my job but she got mad because I repeated her order back to her, who does that?"

"Lol well baby I'm glad you didn't do that because you need your job and you're better than that."

"Awee thanks baby." I cooed

"You're welcome babygirl but I'm about to go hop in the shower I'm gone call you back later."

"Alright I Love You."

"I Love You Too ma."

After we got off of FaceTime I didn't know what else to do so I decided on a nap but I was having trouble sleeping Tré was the only thing on my mind right now I swear I love that boy. After tossing and turning for about 30 mins I finally fell asleep.

I woke up around 6:30pm and had seen I had some missed calls and text messages from Tré. One thing he always does is make sure I'm alright and I absolutely love it.

After texting Tré back letting him know I was about to call him, I went downstairs and fixed myself something to snack on before I decided on what to cook for dinner.

Tré and I literally talk on the phone every night and end up falling asleep on each other.

Calling Tré he answered on the second ring.

"Hey baby" he said answering.

"Hey babe" I said grinning hard.

"What you about to do?"

"I was deciding on what I wanted for dinner."

"Need help deciding?"

"Yes please."

"Ok how about something simple like baked chicken, broccoli and some rice?"

"Yea that's fine thanks baby."

Tré has always been good on cooking he would often tell me what I should cook because sometimes I could never think about what I had a taste for.

"No problem babygirl."

Tré talked to me the entire time I cooked my food, he also stayed on the phone while I ate only because I asked him to he hated staying on the phone while I ate.

After I finished eating I told Tré I would call him back after I got out of the shower.

Picking out a matching bra and panties set I got out everything I would need after my shower and laid them on my bed, I grabbed my towel and went into the bathroom.

I had decided on a nice long shower since my day had been so long.

After getting out of the shower I put on my lotion and took care of all of my other hygiene, I then put on my clothes and called Tré back.

While on the phone with Tré I couldn't help but to think about when we would meet how it would go, where we would meet, how would I feel meeting him for the first time and honestly I think I'm going to be nervous as hell.

Although I've known Tré for  some time now I don't think meeting him would be the same I get nervous still just being on the phone with him.

Breaking me out of my thoughts Tré asked me what was wrong.

"Oh nothing baby I was just thinking about some things."

"What you thinking about?"

"How everything will go when we finally see each other."

"Baby it will be fine I told you that everything will be great, look babygirl I Love You and you know that so as long as you know that my love for you is here know that I am not going anywhere and everything will be fine."

"Alright I just can't help it I dream of days of us meeting and I just get so happy and nervous."

"Ik babygirl I dream of it too but it will be perfect just don't worry about it."

He was right or at least I hoped I just want everything to go great.

Checking the time on my phone it was going on midnight and I have work at 4 in the morning and I couldn't afford to be tired considering I work at iHop.

"Baby I have work in the morning at 4 and I don't want to be tired."

"Alright that's fine go ahead and go to sleep I'll be here if you need me I Love You ma."

Just as he said that I was drifting off to sleep but I managed to say it back before I completely fell asleep.

"I Love You Too."
