Chapter 13

Summer

I decided on keeping my pride and cutting Tré off completely. I'm just trying to figure out why he still trying to hit me up and he has a baby on the way and a girl. I swear I never expected that out of him I guess its true when they say Love is blind.

No more being stupid for the wrong guys its time to Boss Up, because sitting in this house crying about it is not going to solve any of my problems. I also decided on not telling my mom about the situation to save myself from the "I told you so" speech that gets so annoying.

I think I'm doing rather good considering what I just went through. I've stopped feeling sad and started going out more and come to think of it I might go out tonight. Let me call Bri and see what she doing tonight.

"Yo wassup" Bri said answering the phone.

"What you doing tonight?"

"Going out with my mannnn"

"Oh well alright then have fun"

"Ok but what's wrong? Did you need me or something?"

"Nahh boo its cool go have fun"

"Ok I'll talk to you later Babe"

"Alright bye"

"Bye"

Looks like I'm going out by myself tonight.

I was having the hardest time trying to figure out what I was going to wear until I finally found the best outfit for a night like this.

Nothing fancy but nothing too casual. I was still gone have fun regardless.

As I got out the car at the lounge I really thought about how things are when me and Bri go out together but since she couldn't come it was a solo vibe type of night so I couldn't drink too much.

I got inside and sat down at the bar, of course I ordered me a shot of tequila. I ordered two more and got on the dance floor. I was feeling myself a lil hard until I spotted something that made me think I was drunk and hallucinating.

I looked up only to see Tré walking towards me. All I could think is what was he doing here? So I grabbed the dude closest to me and started dancing on him. I could care less if Trés feelings were hurt, he not mines. I must have pissed Tré off because he started grabbing at me and I wasn't having it.

I was already tipsy and I could feel it. I tried to keep ignoring him but him grabbing on me was really pissing me off, the guy I was dancing on apparently didn't like him grabbing me either because he spoke up for me and told Tré to stop grabbing me.

Tré replied by saying I was his girl I gave him the dumbest look ever and said I don't even know this man.

So Tré tried to grab me again and I pulled away and stumbled back a little. The guy standing behind me caught me and then told Tré that he should leave.

Tré wouldn't listen and tried to get to me again but the guy pushed him back and told him that he should leave again. Tré responded with "I'm not leaving unless she is with me". The guy then responded with "nah bruh that ain't how its happening so I think you should bounce". Well that set Tré off and he tried to come for me again but the guy caught him and punched him dead in the jaw. I was just sitting there looking stupid while they was sitting there fighting, I didn't know what else to do I didn't want to risk breaking it up myself and get hit too.

The security came running over and broke up the fight. Tré was put out and so was I right a long with the guy that took up for me. All I could think right now was to thank this guy and apologize for what happened I could care less about Tré right now but at least he got his ass beat.

Walking up to the guy I couldn't help but to smile because mannn he was fine.

"Hey, I wanted to say thanks for helping me in there"

"Its no problem I couldn't help myself I didn't like the way he was grabbing on you"

"Well I really appreciate it though"

"I didn't get your name in there"

"Its Summer"

"I'm James it was nice meeting you"

"You too, again thank you so much for your help"

"It was really no problem at all, you mind if I ask you for your number"

I had the biggest grin on my face "not at all".
