Samantha's POV
I sighed as my family parked in the driveway of the Dallas'. I was nervous and scared of what Cameron would say or do tonight, but I tried not to worry about it.I'd just hang out with Grace and ignore Cameron completely.
I felt my palms getting sweaty as my step-dad knocked on the big red door of the house.
My mom and him were in front, while I tried to hide behind them, Shawn beside me.
"Hey." Cameron said, opening the door. He was dressed in a black v-neck and ripped jeans. Don't stare, don't stare. I thought, looking at Cameron's eyes.
I felt Shawn's arm snake across my hip protectively, and sent a secret glare to Cameron, my mother and step-father being none the wiser.
I nudged him with my elbow, reminding him to be nice.
"Hello Cameron, how are you?" My mother smiled. "Good, you?" He smiled, holding the door for her to enter.
They made casual conversation, and Cameron shook my dads hand. I gagged. Cameron being a gentleman. It sent shivers down my spine, although I couldn't say it wasn't attractive how he acted with my parents.
Shawn shoved his hands in his pockets as he walked in the house. Smooth Shawn, smooth.
I smiled as I walked through the door, looking around. Cameron closed the door behind me. He smiled at me as he opened his arms, cueing he wanted a hug.
I played it like I actually liked him, smiling and engulfing Cameron in a hug.
"How are you?" I smiled, still in the hug. "I'm better," he mumbled. "I wanted to apologize for today, I really didn't mean to get you in trouble."
The way he whispered down my neck made me shiver.
"It's fine, really." I then pulled away from the hug, to see Mrs Dallas and my mom gushing. I inwardly groaned.
They undoubtedly were Sameron shippers. Even if they didn't admit it, it was pretty obvious.
I saw Grace on the couch talking to Shawn as she played Mario Kart and made my way over to her.
I sat beside her and smiled, grabbing a controller. "You're going down." I said, smirking at her.
"Oh ya, sure." She said laughing. "Oh no," said Shawn grabbing a controller and tossing one to Cameron as he sat down.
"You're both going down."
I smiled as the night started with us playing Mario Kart and Shawn screaming as he got hit constantly with shells.
Cameron was in first, playing Mario and I was behind him playing my favourite, Yoshi.
I threw a red shell at him right before he crossed the finish line, making me pass him and win.
"NOO!!" He screamed, squeezing his controller to the point where his fingers turned white.
I laughed as I stood up, dancing. "You all suck." I said, while still dancing. They laughed as Cameron threw a pillow at me, the force of it knocking me into a chair.
I pouted. "Jerk."
We all erupted in laughter. "Kids!" Mrs Dallas yelled. "Dinner!"
