Samantha's POV
I sighed as I wrapped my fingers around the cold rusted metal bars of the carnival jail cell."Oh come on Matt...." I said, smiling at him as he played on his phone. He was sitting in a black plastic chair in front of the cell, watching us.
"We're friends right?" Matt smiled as he stood up, coming close to the bars. "For sure! But you know I can't just let you out."
"Why not?" Cameron asked from the corner of the cell. He was slouched on the bench, fiddling with a string bracelet around his wrist.
"Umm... because I don't want to get fired?" Matt said, sending Cameron a confused glance. "Lame." Cameron huffed.
"What the hell are you doing here?!" Grace hissed, walking into the building. Shawn followed suite with the whole 'Are you really that stupid' look written on his face.
"Oh... ya know.. just hanging out..." I joked, smiling at them. They gave me a sideways glare in response, Cameron laughing at me.
"Please don't tell mom." I pleaded to Shawn, pressing my face against the bars.
Shawn just smirked at me, leaning closer to my face. "No promises." He whispered, his eyes shining deviously.
"I can't believe you Cameron!" Grace yelled, her arms crossed across her chest. "Are you an idiot?!"
"Well... umm... yeah." Cameron said, making me laugh. I jumped and closed my mouth as Grace sent me a death glare.
"I'm... I'm sorry." I said, trying not to laugh. "It wasn't funny."
Grace just groaned, turning to Matt. "So how many to bust Sam out of here?" "Sam?! You're just going to leave me in here?!" Cameron shouted, jumping up to stand beside me against the bars.
"Well... umm... yeah." Grace mocked, turning back to Matt.
"25 dollars." Matt replied, holding out his hand. Grace sighed as she forked 25 dollars over. "Say hi to Emma for me." Matt smiled, unlocking the cell.
I reluctantly walked out turning to see Cameron's sad face. "C'mon Sam." Shawn called from the door. "Just give me a second." I called back.
"I can't believe you're leaving me in here." Cameron mumbled. "Not by choice." I replied, putting my hand over his. "I don't have any money on me. Trust me, I would if I could."
"SAM!" Grace yelled, sounding frustrated. "COMING!" I yelled back.
"I'm sorry. I'll get money from Nash and sneak away from Shawn and Grace. I'll be back." I promised. "You better." Cameron whispered, smiling the tiniest bit.
I kissed him softly, the cold bars brushing against my cheeks. I pulled away to go meet Grace and Shawn when I came face to face with Matt.
"Well aren't you two cute." He smirked. "Shut up." I smiled, shoving past him. I heard him chuckle slightly before I exited the building, leaving Cameron to his uncertain fate.

An hour earlier....
Emma's POV
I smiled as Hayes and I hopped onto a Ferris wheel cart, Emily and Nash on the one above us.I grabbed Hayes' shoulder as the cart wobbled, attempting to steady myself. Hayes laughed at my clumsiness, helping me sit down across from him.
The Ferris wheel whirled with life as it began its loop upwards. I saw Nash and Emily talking, Nash rubbing his neck nervously as Emily smiled slightly.
What was happening up there?
"Wow..." I gasped, looking out at the view. "It's ama-" I started, but cut off into a shriek as the cart jolted to a stop.
My hands clasped to the door as Hayes' arms wrapped around my waist. My heart ran fast as his warm breath enveloped my ear.
"It's okay." He whispered. My breath quickened as my fingers relaxed. "I've got you."
I turned around slowly, coming face to face with Hayes. No words were spoken. Not a single one. Just his lips, crashing on mine.
My mind whirled to life, replaying every single moment and kiss we had shared. And my heart fluttered with the love I once thought had been lost forever.
My arms wrapped around his neck, my fingers digging into his hair, pulling him closer. It was just him. And it was me.
It was us.
And it never felt more right.

Nash's POV
"What the hell?!" Emily jumped as the cart jolted. I smiled slightly, hearing familiar shouts in the far off distance.Samantha Leigh Gray, I knew you could do it.
"It's probably just a malfunction." I said, reaching out and taking her hand. "It'll be fine." She nodded, seeming to calm down.I cleared my throat, my nerves spiking. This was my chance.
Don't blow it.
"So, Emily... I've uhh... been meaning to ask you something." I said, rubbing my neck.
She smiled slightly, catching me off guard. Did she know? "What is it?" Her fingers ran over mine, her eyes focused on me. My heart beat spiked, thumping in my chest.
"I've known you for sometime now and I really like you." I said, the words slipping off my tongue. "I was wondering if you wanted to.... if you.." I trailed off, not knowing how to put it.
"Nash..." Emily said, her face flushing pink and smiling. I sighed, gaining my courage. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
Her smile grew 10 times wider as she wrapped her arms around my neck, her lips finding mine. Sparks leapt between us as I grabbed her hips, pulling her towards me.
Finally.
