Samantha's POV
Grace and Cameron's birthday rolled around and I was as nervous as ever. I didn't seem like the only one when I got up and saw Shawn. His lips were cracked, his hair a mess. A towel was in his hand, showing that he was probably going to take a shower. There were bags under his eyes, but not very noticeable.
"You good bro?" I laughed, looking at him. "Ha. Ha." He laughed, walking past me, entering the bathroom.
I just shook my head and laughed. Suddenly Emma came through the front door. "Hey bestie!" She said, walking up the stairs. "Umm... Hi? I thought you weren't coming till later?" I said.
I had invited her over in the morning to help me get ready. She obviously said yes, loving any fashion crisis. And let's be honest, I was a huge disaster.
"Yea, but I woke up early. Now, come on!" She said, grabbing my hand and dragging me to my room.
She automatically went straight to my dresser, throwing out a black crop top and high waisted jeans. I got dressed in the closet since she refused to get up off my bed.
I sighed as I walked out and looked in to mirror. "Not to shabby, Em." "I'm not done yet." She said, smirking. She pulled me onto my chair that was infront of my mirror and started curling my hair.
She hummed some random tune under her breath as she made her way around my head.
Shawn walked in when she was done with my hair and makeup. He was wearing jeans and was holding a grey V-neck in his hand. He was shirtless, and I could tell Emma was about to faint.
"We gotta leave soon." He said, looking at his watch. "Kay!" I said. He nodded, walking out of my room.
"OKAY. GRACE IS SOOOOO LUCKY!" Emma said. "EMMA!" I shrieked, laughing at her. "What?! Just saying." She said, shrugging innocently.
I laughed at her as I grabbed Cameron's and Grace's presents, and walked out of my room. Emma had my purse slung around her shoulders as she followed me downstairs.
"Ready?" Shawn asked, now wearing a shirt. "Let's get this party started!" I said, gently nudging him with my elbow to make him walk in front of me. He grabbed his gifts to the Dallas' and lead us out the door.
----
I hopped out of the car, Emma and Shawn all beside me carrying their presents.
I stepped up to the door and looked at it, taking a big breath before knocking.
The door swung open to reveal Grace smiling from ear to ear. "Hey! Come on in!" She chirped and we all followed her in, sliding off our shoes and setting the gifts on the kitchen table.
We entered the living room to see Nash, Hayes, Emily, Cameron and now Grace, all sprawled out on the couches.
"Hey babe!" Cameron smiled picking me up by the waist and twirling me around, setting me on his lap as he fell into a sitting position on the couch.
I laughed. "Excited to see me?" Cameron smiled. "Yeah. That and the fact that I get presents today."
"Geez. Is that all you think about when it comes to your birthday?" Shawn asked, hugging Grace.
"Pshh... No! It's just that it's a big part." Cameron said. I swatted his chest, smiling. "I'm just kidding! I'm just happy to spend time with my friends."
"AWWWW! I LOVE YOU TOO BRO!" Nash said, reaching past me to hug Cameron. Everyone laughed as Cameron started swatting Nash with one hand, holding onto my waist with the other.
