"Hey I'm in town. Wanna meet up at and grab a bite?" My phone vibrated and displayed. It was from Ed. My heart fluttered a little. Did this mean I had real, legitimate feelings for Ed?
"Sure," I replied, "As long as you're not cooking."
"Wouldn't think of it haha ;)," he texted back.
After a few more texts, we decided to meet up at a local sandwich shop for lunch.
"Meeting Ed for lunch. Casual or dressy?" I texted Selena. I didn't want to look like I was trying too hard because I wasn't even sure if he felt the same way about me. I was hoping though. And he kept showing up, which I think counts as a sign that a guy is into you. But what do I know about guys? My phone vibrated with her reply.
"Somewhere in the middle. Maybe a sundress with flats, but nothing more. And oooooooo get it on, Tay! ;)"
"Okay thanks... I think," I replied. I walked upstairs to my closet to look for a dress. After a few moments of deliberation, I decided on an above-the-knee floral printed dress and my shortest black heels. I don't care how tall I am; I love heels. I straightened my hair and pulled it into a slightly messy ponytail. Good enough. I didn't want to look like I was trying too hard.
About fifteen minutes later, I decided to leave. I usually like being to meetings early. The only thing I tend to be late to is award shows, but that's just because I'm not particularly fond of walking the red carpet and all that jazz. Ed would probably be late, knowing him, but that was okay. It had been about eight months since I'd even been out on a date; even just a casual one. I'd actually been a little down about love in general. Until Ed came along.

okay this is sooo super short and I apologize for that. however, I really don't know what to write next and I haven't had much time. I'm seeing Taylor and Ed on Friday, so maybe that'll help me. we'll see. (: so sorry, I'll write more ASAP.
