He never thought he could tackle such a big problem in a short time. He was hopefully going home that day. He saw a gift shop as he walked down the half empty street, he decided to get inside and get Sabiha a present. It was his way of saying 'I am sorry' or you can call it what it is, a bribe.

He stared outside the window as the woman behind the counter wrapped the presents. The woman suggested a perfume set and some bracelets, it seemed like the girls of this generation liked them, maybe he could enter the bookstore he saw to get her a book.

Minutes later she announced she had finished and with a warm smile he paid his money and exited the shop. He couldn't wait to get home.

--------------------------------------------------------

Sabiha glared angrily at the woman when she came in to bring her breakfast.

"Good morning ." Naomi said pleasantly,or at least she tried , her attempt to ignore the girl's hostile looks failed, she made her feel like she needed to watch her back." Have you slept well?" She could have been talking to the wall." You need to eat something."

" Why do you care?" She finally spoke, her voice laced with venom, she was dreadfully hungry but she didn't want food from that woman. All she wanted was to go home.

" You need to eat."

If they had met under better circumstances, she would have thought the woman actually cared. She wanted to try running away as well but she recalled what the woman told her,but then, she couldn't possibly trust her.

The girl let out a cry and clutched her stomach,Naomi moved closer thinking she was in pain, but instead she gathered all her strength and hit her hard, and ran out into the corridor. She kept running straight ,not knowing where she was going,Naomi ran after her but she was too fast.

She ran straight into a person, she looked up and saw a man glaring down at her. His eyes held no warmth or kindness. He held her arm tightly ,hurting her in the process. " Trying to escape are we?" He mocked in a booming voice.

He scared her more than she would admit. " Leave me alone." She said as she hit his hand, but its as good as she is hitting a rock , seeing it was useless ,she bit him,he yelled in pain before slapping her hand across her face. He dragged her carelessly back to the room and shoved her roughly inside .

"Don't you dare make that mistake again." He said angrily and closed the door, she could hear the sound of the key turn from the outside.

She put her palm to her burning face as the sobs escaped from her throat . I would not cry ,she kept telling herself but her tears didn't listen.

Who are those people?Who hated her so much to make her go through that?

--------------------------------------------------------
" What you are asking me to do is a very risky business Ibrahim,I can lose my job and licence to practice. "
Of course he was being selfish again,he didn't even consider how that will affect her. Maybe he should just discard it,its a stupid plan anyway.

She hesitated before adding." Unless of course you have a very good plan." He thought he saw a ghost of a smile on her face.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Zaid glared at Banan as she sang on top of her lungs,he knew she was only doing that to annoy him,the worst part is that she is succeeding. He knew it will be best to ignore her,as difficult as it seems.

Scratch that,he thought after she started drumming as well." Banan, I don't really know a better way to say this, but you sing like a dying cow,so please do the world a favour and shut up."

" Sorry, was I bothering you?" She asked sweetly.

"Can't you see I am reading here? I believe even your brain can comprehend that. "

" Ohh,I guess I will just shut up then." To his utmost surprise, she really did keep quiet. But soon enough,he understood that it was no act of goodwill when she turned on the radio and tuned the volume to the max. He didn't even know what to say to her,he was busy thinking of ways to murder her without anyone suspecting him. She did have that wonderful talent of getting on his nerves.

When he saw that she had no intention of turning it off, he stood up and did it himself. She surprised him again by not saying . Now,she was beginning to scare him.

" What are you up to?" He asked suspiciously .

" Its such a beautiful day Zaid ."
He pinched her cheeks and she slapped his hand away, now this was more like her. "Are you sure you are okay?"

" Kindness brother ,kindness, isn't that what they always preach to us?"

" Well, you being kind or whatever is freaking me out. Who are you and what did you do to Banan?" He asked with feigned horror.

" I have changed." Sure,if donkeys can fly.

" Have you tried calling Sabiha?" She asked suddenly serious,Zaid is used to her mood swings.

" You need to go buy yourself a phone,I am tired of being your phone booth, my life was so much sweeter when you had one."

" And who threw mine inside hot water?"

" It was an accident ." he defended quickly, he was joking around ,threatening to throw it in when it accidentally slipped from his hands. Banan was so mad,she ignored him for a long time,of course she got over it. He felt guilty not to forget the earful he got from their mom.

" Well,I tried ,it was switched off. We would probably see her later in the evening." He resumed to reading his book.

"Why can't we go now?"

He gave her a look." I am pretty sure I didn't glue you to the floor or tie your legs ,and am positive you know the way."

She hissed, she looked out the window instead and admired some beautiful flowers she spotted in their neighbor's garden.
