CHAPTER FIVE (2)

Sabiha hated being bored ,its like a black hole that sucks the life out of you. But now,she had no choice ,that's why she holds on the books Naomi brought her as if she needed them to survive .

She did actually,if she didn't want to go mad. She missed her father badly,she knows he must have gone crazy with worry .

She just hoped they are close to finding her . Being stuck wasn't funny,especially with an abusive,crazy man and a weird woman as her captors .

She didn't know what he was up to but whatever it was. She wasnt going to listen anymore .

"But we haven't even discuss anything yet." He whined .

Seriously? She thought . Was he blind or just plain stupid? "I have changed my mind ." she started to walk away .

"I only said the truth. You need to start taking control of your life." She couldn't believe the nerve of that man.

Banan went back ,looked him straight in the eye and said slowly. "Don't you dare tell me what to do . You called me out of the blue ,and yet,you think you know me so well and still have the nerve to call me weak and insult my brother . You may know a few things about me,but be assured ,you do not know me." She started back again. Who the hell did he think he was?

"I hope your little investigations is going well?"

His words hit her like lightening ,her whole body froze. " what ...what are you talking about ?" Whoever this man is ,he is not someone to be messed with.

He rolled his eyes. "You are not dumb Banan,stop acting so." The way he said her name gave her goosebumps . It had just the right amount of force . She shouldn't have come. "But let's just say there is so much you don't know about me."

Tahir must have told him . He was the only one that knew apart from them. Zaid was right, she wished she hasn't trusted him . God! She was so ,so stupid.

"Its really sweet ,how you try so hard to find her . its like even when she is missing she still had a lot of influence over your life. Though she is gone , everything is still about her. I mean ,she clearly knew you liked that boy ,but still ,she still leads him on. Look at your brother ,he even makes you feel like a third wheel when she is around ,I bet she is still all he talks about."

"Tahir told you didn't he?" She fumed trying to ignore his words .

He threw his head back and laughed." Oh! Don't worry dear. Your cute little boyfriend has nothing to do with this. You really are kind. Putting all these efforts despite all she does to you."

"What do you want?"

"For you to stop wasting your energy ,when you can be part of something bigger . Nothing more than your cooperation. Do have a seat ." he gestured to the chair . Banan looked at the door ,then back at the chair . She knew she had little or no choice
,so she simply did as she was told.

"Now this is what I am talking about." He said smugly . The man that brought her in earlier brought them refreshments.

"Do drink something ." he cajoled .

She shook her head. she watched him sip from his cup and take a bite from a piece of cake ,she prayed he would choke on it and die.

"Now,where was I ?"

Finally,the plot is thickening and I have just started .
