Frank loved Pipper, not like Hazel, but he loved having her in the crew, she convinced the police that it was a small plane controlled with a remote control that crashed, and they needed to retrieve it, obviously, the cops bought it.
They borrowed a coast guard boat. The boat had a sonar, so they found the statue of Athena easily.
"How do we take it out?" Frank asked.
"I can help you, Frank Zhang" another voice said, all three of them turned and saw a woman standing there in black clothes, she had some strange keys attached to her belt.
They knew she was a goddess when they saw her. She radiated power, like any god, but this goddess radiated shadows, she was in the only dark spot in the ship.
"Who are you?" Leo asked.
"I am Nyx, goddess of the night, sister of Gaea."
"What do you want?" Frank asked.
"Just helping, you need help with the statue, don't you?"
"Gods don't make favors just like that, they always ask for favors, so what do we have to do?" Pipper said
"Why should we trust you? Your sister is Gaea" Leo continued
"I know your friends are in Tartarus, you already sacrificed to much, and I would never work for my sister, we always fight"
She snapped her fingers and said "return to your ship and the statue will follow you, you should check out Venice, you will find something useful there, and one last thing, Chiron knows a way of communicating with Percy. We will meet again, son of Mars."
And with a flash of lighting, she was gone.
"Should we trust her?" Frank asked
"Not even a little, but let's hope she is on our side, and she wasn't lying."
