Prologue

At the beginning there was nothing but darkness, then Gaea, the earth and Uranus, the sky had six sons, three cyclops, giants with one eye in the forehead, and the hecatoncheiris, giants tall as the sky, with a hundred hands and fifty heads. Scared of that they would overthrow Uranus, he locked them down in Tartarus, the darkest place in the underworld.

Then they had six sons and six daughters, known as the titans. Gaea was sad because she couldn't see her other sons, so he prayed Kronos to kill his father. She gave him a curved knife to kill him. Kronos killed Uranus and took his throne. Uranus' blood created Aphrodite out of sea foam.

Then, Kronos and Rhea had children, known as the Olympians. Afraid that they would overthrow him, Kronos ate his children, except for Zeus, that grew strong. Rhea gave Kronos a potion that made him vomit his sons.

There was a war between the gods and the titans, but the titan Prometheus helped the gods. Rhea told Zeus about the cyclops and hecatoncheiris, so Zeus freed them and they helped the gods in the war.

Finally the gods won and chopped Kronos into a million pieces and sent his remains to Tartarus.

After Gaea saw what Zeus did to she's sons, she's anger made her give birth to twelve more sons, giants, each born to overthrow an Olympian god. They could only be killed by gods and demi-gods working together. The Olympians won and made Gaea go to sleep.

Then, Prometheus gave the fire to the humans, and Zeus punished him.
